Usually nobody cares about cursing in foreign language, they are just just foreign words that aren't viewed as strong language. Some might even find it cute. if he swore in korean they would certainly comment on it

one easy way to think of the metaphor "burned white" is that when a fire gets completely burned out (burned until it can't be lit again) it leaves behind a lot of white ash (black charcoal can be burned further, btw).

So if a piece of wood gives in all of its energy and gets burned to white ash, you could say that that piece of wood has Given its absolute all, to the point that they can't push anymore; it has been "burned white."

you'll see that there's a little white fluff past the blackened bit of the wood. That's the burned white bit, then the half-burned black bit, then the unburned wood bit.
