I was initially doubting for them because of their confusing concept but their growth really impressed me. They are very cool, imo. Idk the concept seems like actually genius idea if one can work it?

Considering BTS popularity right now, they're gonna be top 1 for the next 5 years (doesn't matter if they're going to the military). By that time, NCT's most popular members will be going to the military as well. ik NCT is big enough to still promote forever but it's not the "NCT" brand which is holding the group, it's the popular members.

If you want to be practical, by the time BTS steps down the position as the top group, a fresh group will replace them. That group is gonna rule the late 20's and early 30's. It's basically gonna serve for the new generation. NCT still might exist then but they're most likely gonna lose momentum by then.

I don't think they will be 1 but they're really going for that 2nd spot

No hate for the boys they are talented and their songs appeal to their fans. But I don't think so.

They will be popular, no doubt just not the no.1 group.

Because now, it is the time for 4th gen and there are strong competitors coming at a fast pace, also there is an SM BG coming that I think might steel the show too.

They do need a hit, but quite honestly their songs do not appeal to Koreans, outside their demographic. It might appeal internationally but unless you go big in Korea you can't go big internationally imo.

But all those are my thoughts, and who knows maybe they will.
