I really don't get it, the album was released a little over a week ago, had a national holiday in the middle of its first week but it already sold more than 1 million in Hanteo.
Why is it that when any other artist/company release the preorder numbers, no one has a problem with it but when NCT/SM does it it is suddenly "fake it until you make it" and "pushing fans' hands by bluffing" even though preorders are ALL shipment numbers for all artists? Why are only NCT expected to eclipse their preorders within few days of Hanteo tracking otherwise their shipments are inflated? We had this exact same narrative for Hot Sauce and you know what? The album already sold more than 1.8M in Hanteo which is like 250k less than their Gaon numbers, isn't that a good ratio?
Why is gaon treated as the gospel truth for everyone else but when it comes to NCT everyone suddenly remembers that gaon reports shipments NoT rEaL sAlEs?
Can the intellectual anons please come out and explain it to the rest of us? Especially the critical thinker that said anyone with a bit of critical thinking would know those 2 millions aren't real sales? Don't be shy
