Idols saying they are to busy to date is a lie anyway…

  • Like… they obviously just say this so that their fans won’t freak out over the thought alone that their “ Oppa” might have any kind of dating life. lol

While I’m pretty sure far more are already in a serious relationship for years.

Like why not say “ we haven’t found the right person yet” or maybe even “ we ain’t focusing on a relationship yet”… but to busy to date ? Nah won’t believe that anymore lmfao.

Not that I mind them dating… they should! But Groups, especially BG’s should stop giving some of their fans the delusions that they are all they need lol.

  • Actually true. It's better to stop saying that "fans are all that matters/need" bc at some point they will announce their relationship and unfortunately delusion people are common...

Its better to just be honest since the beginning and well, if they want to go public great, if not great too, but already stating that dating is normal helps a lot.

  • it's a white lie...

soon the oppas will come out from I'm not dating anyone to I'm getting married and having a kid...

the unnies are less likely or rather less chance of the above not being known since to my knowledge, no idol has performed or promoted whilst being pregnant...

  • I think too busy to date might be true

They are not too busy to have sex, usually no one is

Problem is when they get caught with their sex friends they have to admit to dating bc their society is conservative

  • I would be shitless scared of fans in their situation as well. We don't know if they're told to say this kind of stuff, but given the pattern, they probably are.

Sadly, things take a long time to be normalized. Of course we want them to be open about their relationships and not feel scared of loving someone, but we cannot expect them to do that all at once.

  • They could be too busy to date. Especially new groups. But that usually means they only seek out one night stands. Because they are too busy to be in a relationship.

  • When idols say "we haven't found the right person yet" or "we ain't focusing on a relationship", some might not be lying. I mean you can call yourself "single" while hooking up and going on dates. They just might not be in a serious relationship yet.

But I don't buy the "I'm too busy to date" narrative. If you're willing to spend time with your loved ones, you'll find a way regardless of your "busy schedule".

  • I still think this was the case with Kai and Jennie

    :peperun:

I think this is 90 percent of idols "dating"

Reminds me of what LeeJoon from Mblaq said about the Idol dating scene.

"[Because of what other people would think], I can't meet with more female idols. I can't say who exactly, but with a lot of idol singers, A and B will start dating, and then suddenly, A starts dating C and B starts dating D. It's like the wild animal kingdom... It's sort of embarrassing."

He got quite a bit of a backlash for exposing this.

  • A fail was when that iKon and Momoland member where caught and one agency said they were dating, while the other said they weren’t. What a mess

that happened to two MML members

  • I honestly was torn between laughing cos the situation was so surreal and feeling really bad for Daisy

The situation slipped my mind till you brought it back

Yeah it made her look desperate or confused idk exactly, it was just “ 😬 “ and people were coming for Yunhyeong for making Daisy look bad and I was just … “couldn’t the companies discuss it first before releasing a statement separately from each other”

It was indeed a mix of finding this whole situation hilarious and feeling sorry for Daisy.

  • Lol.

Honestly with BTS I'm stuck between 'They are working 20h a day anyway so they barely have the time to sleep' and 'Most of them are probably married with a kid or two', there is no in-between :pepemusic:

That said, I do think idols should normalize answering 'this is no one's buisness' to this question.

  • What does that mean?

    🤪

Supposedly some Japanese boys cut the second button (from the top) off their school uniform blazer and give it to the girl they have a crush on when they graduate from middle school. It supposedly happens in anime. During a video call, a fan asked Yoshi if he gave someone his second button and he replied "yes" but he didn't remember which girl. Now, he's either lying or making himself seem like a player...

    Don't lie, Yoshi.

It's fine to withhold information, but don't lie.

  • Some of them might really be too busy and don't want to make someone suffer. Like, some have to learn new choreographies and take classes daily, and maybe are too tired to hang out with someone.

But these days, I feel like people started to accept more the idea of dating and companies don't listen to those crazy fans who want the idols to be kicked out. I think it's better to remain private, not because I have something against my favs dating, but because people judges. Suzy made her relationship public and was judged so bad because she had 3 boyfriends or something like that, even tho it's pretty normal in,,,, normal life, so I understand idols who don't want to confirm every relationship because they aren't sure it will last a lot...

It's impossible to change the mindset of some fans who got used to idols not dating or being kicked out but slowly with time and patience, it will change.

    White Album 2 :-D

  • Lots of Beautiful young people constantly interacting with other beautiful young people in highly stressful workplace

Trust me, they are all pure innocent Virgins

I always see this train of thought and I find it weird because suddenly all idols are sex fiends just because they're all young, attractive, and in a stressful working environment? That may be true for some but everyone's different. It's most likely imo that some idols may truly be virgins, some are in the middle, and some are going at it like crazy

It’s not pretty normal to have three boyfriends at one time🤪
