I'm sure there's many more, but back in 2015 BTS was like being hit one after another I think bc they were being successful as a mid tier boygroup
1. Jimin hair color plagiarism
2. Taehyung singing along to a music show song (it was Loser by big bang)
3. BTS wearing "fake" clothes (the red circles always gets me, and the fact that this has absolutely no negative conotation yet became a scandal)
Edit: Also that one a boy group member brushed on Somi and people said he sexually harassed her
Hyuna and Edawn whole thing and the fact they turned to be in a relationship
That one with Blackpink and the pandas
That one with BTS and the whole blacklisting from China
I know there's so many more, but these were the ones that popped up in my head that my first reaction was "how the fuck is that even controversial".

Most scandals are ridiculous by normal people standards.
Bullying, which is very difficult to establish, even if true, is ridiculous to cancel the careers over adolescent or teenage mistakes in high stress environments.
Of course the worst is T-ARA. It is not even the twins who are fault, but the kpop public who are so quick to blame and destroy.
But the worst is of course, Tajinyo.
Where repeatedly evidence was provided to prove Tablo's credentials.
The police, the prosecution, Stanford -- yet a cabal of lunatics could poison the narrative so horridly.
Scandals most often prove that the public is a mindless mob which is simply waiting for any opportunity.
Shakespeare said it the best, when the mob is hunting for Caesar's killers, they capture a random guy and he cries "I am Cinna the poet, not Cinna the conspirator" and the mob cries "Then kill him for his bad verses"
But of course as it is said of the sword, that those who live by the sword, die by the sword - idols sell an exaggerated fantasy for the popularity, then exaggerated fiction can cause their destruction by the same popularity.

Tablo wasn’t even an idol as such. He was attacked cause he is smart.
That must have been one hell of a shit storm to be in.

Love Love Love, fan, run, etc .
It's all live songs
And in2014/15 there's a drama in KHH about rapper who sings love songs especially San E.
It's stupid honestly , but their earlier song for me is more kpop .
And if u don't know Mithra and tablo used to be called a visual too

Tzuyu Taiwan flag scandal
Definitely the most ridiculous because she waved a flag which was provided by a Korean Network, then was attacked by a Taiwanese Singer that is known to sell out Taiwanese to help his Chinese Career.
You basically had Mainland China Television Networks banning TWICE Content, China Music Providers banning JYPE Music and a Taiwanese Political Party Campaign that used Tzuyu as a solidarity against China
BUT......
That's Tzuyu's power, just wave a flag and it causes chaos
