No...I still need to get my permit and I failed the first two times. Maybe next time will be the one I make it.

Yes. I would not be able to get to work without my truck. My office is a half hour drive away from where I live.

Yep. I have a silver Nissan Pulsar that I bought off my parents when they bought a new car in 2006. I paid cash too. I’ve had her for 15 years now and I don’t want to ever get rid of her as she is the last link to my father. Her nickname is Miss Nissy and she’s a fun car to drive and reliable.

I'm allowed to take it tomorrow since it's 5 days between testing after failing but I might wait a bit since I for sure don't want to fail this time. I was so very close last time.

Driving is just something that takes practice. I've been driving for so long that it's almost second nature now.

In fact the scarier part now is when I drive somewhere, get to my destination, and then realize I don't remember anything about the drive at all. I can just go into auto-pilot while driving sometimes.

I live right next to a highway which is super busy everyday so there's a lot more danger when I drive. I would take routes with less busy roads but I work at Doordash so the order doesn't get to it's house quick enough that way.

I have family in Hyderbad, India, so I have visited there a few times, and that area is super chaotic with traffic. The drivers there just swerve around, and give no fucks whatsoever. Completely different from my experience in the U.S. I couldn't imagine driving in areas like that.

I've heard weird things about the roads in India. Like one time my friend was visiting and she was stuck in traffic for 2 hours because a ton of chickens decided to hang out on the road and nobody did anything until they left.

My city has the most highway miles per capita in the US so you bet your ass the sprawl is too real to not have a car.

It's not technically a license, just a driver's permit (drive with supervision with an adult over age 21 with a valid driver's license). In my state, you have to be at least 14 but I know in some states you have to be at least 15 to get one. You get your intermediate driver's license at 16 (drive without supervision) and your actual driver's license at 18.

Yes. I got an electric car last year and it came with free supercharging for a year and it's been awesome. It's gonna expire this month though, so I'm gonna have to start paying to charge.

Tesla M3. We have a federal government incentive for electric cars under a certain amount, so I got $5000 off the price (could have gotten more, but our provincial incentive was removed before I placed my order bc politics). Plus it came with a promo of a year of free supercharging at the time, so I haven't paid at all for my usage. If you give/get a referral, you can also get 6 months free supercharging.

The only issue is I can't charge at home (I live in a condo w/ no charging station), but the dealership isn't far from my house, and there are free public chargers all over the city. One of my coworkers also said she's seen people plug their cars into the pillars of our parking lot (there are regular outlets there), so I'm thinking I could probably do the same too while I'm at work.

So it really depends on the charger infrastructure of your city if charging at home isn't an option.
