We don't know the value of brand deals to say which is higher value. Just because a brand is popular in certain markets doesn't meant it's popular in Korea. Also, if we're going by fashion, then Wonyoung with Miu Miu is treated as much more of a bigger deal than Karina with Prada. We shouldn't play this game of downplaying the number of brand deals Wonyoung has due to Karina having a lower number.
Are we sure Karina ads are spotted more in Korea than Wonyoung? I always hear that you see Wonyoung everywhere when in Korea.
Also, I think you're now crazy for saying Wonyoung's influence is soley built on visuals and brand deals. There's been many moments where she went viral for being great in variety . Also, many respect how good of a performer she is. Honestly, how can we say Wonyoung's popularity won't translate to a solo career? Shinsegae Mall had to stop the diffusion of their ad in the street cuz people were crowding the place just to see Karina face in the ad to the point that it was creating some traffic issue
All her billboard ads become trending spot where people go to take picture
Did i say she's a bad performer or she doesn't go viral on social media
The problem with when she go viral is that it's always linked to her visual
She go viral for eating a strawberry or walking, or doing a turn
And i never talk about going viral neither for karina

While these love calls for variety show never go to Wonyoung but usually go to Yujin
Honestly, how can we say Wonyoung's popularity won't translate to a solo career? I can easily see Wonyoung becoming a big deal if she pursues acting.

I was talking about a music career considering that both had solo song
And while Karina solo was getting a lot of buzz when she reveal it and people in korea were doing the Up challenge just days after she perfom it for the first time which lead to the song getting so much attention and love from the public that it lead to ppl asking when the song will be release
And SM release it
I just didn't see the same attention for Wonyoung solo in korea
Where people have a more mixed reception
And the song doesn't seem to gain attention on tik tok for ppl to start to make a challenge out of it
I'm not talking about potential things like, their potential futur acting career
I'm only talking based on the evidence and what they did for the moment
None of them venture into acting yet so i can't judge a future solo career in it
But both have solo so we can judge on this for their solo career for the moment

Wonyoung is not well rounded enough to have a solo career (as a singer/idol) unlike Karina who is very well rounded, i don't know how good or bad at acting Wonyoung is but maybe she can be an actress, i feel Wonyoung isn't as popular as she was a couple years ago, people are voting her because recency bias
