Something different than reheating their own nachos tbh. I don't want a 2.0 of anything. I think if they ever come back (we all know they won't) they should do something fresh. I have always liked their indie european/japanese art film vibe. Maybe play into that but more mature.
Another thing I would like to point out: I am not sure about Min Heejin. Her best work has always been when she is portraying a loss of innocence in youth. I don't know how well she will handle maturity.

Wasn't their work more akin to artpop? Going whole hog with it would be interesting, being unrestricted by the sound dictated by LSM, with MHJ being in charge of its direction. I think it would be nice to see her tackle something mature, seeing it as a challenge to her creativity, which could further solidify her status as a creative director.
I want MHJ to buy out f(x), Shinee, possibly Red Velvet, and NewJeans, establish her own company, and called it Mother's Room

I found Min Heejin's newer work to be quite uninspired honestly. Even before leaving SM she was having quite a burn out moment and was in a creative decline. Perhaps tackling new themes with new inspirations and new challenges would be good for her.
But anyways this is all hypothetical f(x) aren't really making a comeback.
I couldn't agree more. She did say she has a seven year plan for them, so I imagine that their sound won't be much different during it (unless she has "era" for them, but I'm doubtful about that). She's not the type to stick to one genre or sound for too long, but I wouldn't be surprised if she feels constricted atm, as she might've gone down a different route with the planned BG at Ador (might've being in the strongest of terms).
TBH, I think she should've taken a breather for a number of years, instead of jumping at the highest offer.
And yes, it's been 9.5 years since their last comeback!
