You ever like a group while absolutely despising and wishing the worst on their fandom?

I do like BTS. I've given them their flowers. I saw them perform live all the way back at KCON NY 2016. They've always had a good respect and appreciation for Mamamoo whenever their paths crossed. At least one of the members acknowledges his company is shit and supported the future of the industry on his IG.
I have no real reason to dislike BTS.
Their cult on the other hand.

I don't wish worst for anybody, but every time I try to use twitter there is some bitter army commenting "thanks bruno" in every damn place and I am getting tired of it

You're a better person than me
I stay petty so I don't have to get petty. More than probably anyone here, I've seen the worst subhuman and savage behavior from so many individuals of a certain fandom that I'm pretty much permanently aggroed towards them. I will never direct my venom at BTS (see the fact I didn't stir the pot at all during Suga's DUI, even though the opportunity was there to be MAXIMUM petty), but that's as far as it goes
The path to peaceful coexistence collapsed in on itself when they tried to spread a disgusting ass rumor involving prostitution.
It's ON SIGHT now

Well... I like some of Stray Kids' music and I have heard that some STAYs are toxic.
But I feel like for this forum, I don't think that I have come across any toxic STAY.
Also, I don't think I hang out in websites where I would come across toxic STAYs.

I don't wish the worst bc I'm sure their lives must suck enough already, but funny enough I do like kpop groups, it's rare for me to dislike one, maybe I'm not into some, but overall I don't have negative feelings towards groups as per say, buuuuut I drag groups when I see some dragging BP. So yes, I listen and like your faves songs and yes I'll drag them bc of you. Sorry! I'm not that good of a person

I love NewJeans

I despise some fandoms, but I just forget about it immediately after what I saw.
Rather I have a harder time listening to some type of voices that pains my ears because how awful they sound even in studio version. I want to give them a chance every time but I am disappointed every single damn time. I don’t wish any bad for those idols, but I’m amazed how other people don’t get irritated by their voices.

well, just a particular member of the fandom whose name may or may not start with David.

Kpop fans being toxic, what's new.
I'm only here, I'm not on social media. It's better not to know what's out there lol

I will not ignore a fandom actively trying to harm and destroy one of my favorite groups.
Hyein herself spoke about how much misinformation she sees getting spread about them on social media and hit pieces from HYBE lapdogs in the media, and how much she appreciates Bunnies who systematically correct and dismantle all the BS on their behalf.
We wouldn't have made it this far if we simply ignored the hate. I think that's a naive take.

Honestly understandable
I'm the much more likable MooMoo

You ain't seen nothing yet. Up until now, I've only posted the Rated G version of how I feel towards most ARMY. Funny how fast you all played the victims when the persecuters found themselves as the persecuted during a certain scooter incident last year. I silently soaked in the tragically hilarious irony of it all.
You should be thanking me for suppressing my toxic inclinations to weaponize your fandom's misery against itself, since it's exactly what you all have been trying to do for months against Bunnies and NewJeans
And go ahead. Bring up irrelevant nobodies who made idle threats. Want me to link tweets and reddit posts of ARMY making death threats towards both Bunnies AND NewJeans, and getting tons of likes and upvoted?
Don't try me, fortuna. You know that I know what hellish depths your fandom is willing to sink to.

I've said it gazillion times, I'm not on social media nor i follow what people say. I'm actually focusing on my faves and their music, couldn't care less what random people i don't know think.
This is my choice. I don't have anything against people who think differently. I just don't have patience for that.
I do agree that if armys ignore hate bts wouldn't get this far. So basically, I'm a bad fan lol. Outside of music, their filmed content, live streams and info i get on this forum i know nothing else lol.

Fair enough. But look at it like this.
If not for the fandom uniting and coming to the defense of NewJeans in the most impactful and creative ways, we might never have gotten any more music from them. At the very least, the fandom sticking up for them and standing behind them was an essential component to surviving all the media play and horrific behavior from anti accounts on twitter and other cyber wreckers.
I can't ignore the biggest entertainment label in the industry trying to erase them while the biggest fandom in K-Pop tried to bury them.
I've done nothing bad to you

Only one fandom. Actually, even that doesn't fit the question entirely.
I would say Orbits, but I would be lying if I didnt laugh a little at their tours constantly flopping and one of their spin-off groups disbanding within a year.
If the fandom put 1/10th of the effort they put on online draggings of other groups, into actually supporting their group, the member who recently said she has no money would be driving around in a Bentley by now.

I can vouch for you on this. You've always just done your own thing despite being an Army.
In fact, some of your views aren't necessarily popular among Armys.

Permission to dance bop/flop thread still haunts me
it got locked while i was in the middle of replying! If anyone wants to see how it looks when army disagrees and argues that's the thread to go
and it got locked because of army, not other fandoms
eta: I'm not sure but if i remember correctly i got a verbal wp during that time
Tbh i don't even know what's popular opinions out there
I'm always up for dragging hybe tho. To my surprise we had army here who defended hybe during BE era. I like when we have different opinions, but defending greedy corporations that only know how to rip off fans is really weird.

I can't ignore the biggest entertainment label in the industry trying to erase them while the biggest fandom in K-Pop tried to bury them. When groups have thousands and thousands of fans, or in bts case millions, it is expected insane people to be part of it. I talk about army nonsense all the time. "bts paved the way" and then they drag groups that want to "walk on that paved way". Paving the way means opening the door to others. Stop gatekeeping markets. Or complain about member X getting bullied and then attack other idols. Stop being hypocrites. Literally listen to what your faves say.
Bts can relate to all of that. They know very well how the industry can be unfair, to put it mildly, which is why i don't get why some armys are doing what they doing. Literally your faves supported NJ not the company, listen to your fave ffs, they know what they are talking about.
Eta: hybe is our common enemy. I don't get how can army defend them.

I mean when the B1A4 Bana fandom bullied Dal-shabet so badly they did not perform on music shows for a long time. I absolutely hated the fandom, which I MYSELF WAS AN PART OF, because of the members of it that sent death threats over them dancing together.
The performance looks hella tame by today's standards. But yes that is the one time I truly hated a fandom. The one positive it gave me was that I was introduced to Dal-Shabet via the mess and quite like some of their music.
External Content youtu.beContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy.Quote from Asian JunkieB1A4’s fandom reacted about as rationally as one would expect a K-pop fandom to react.
From this criticism and hate spawned speculative rumors. In one such rumor, a Darling (Dal shabet fan) was accused of physically assaulting a Bana. While another claimed Dal Shabet’s Serri had blatantly rejected a B1A4 member who extended his hand in a friendly greeting.
But the mess truly got kicked off less than two weeks later at the start of January after the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships‘ went down. That’s when rumors started to circulate that Dal Shabet stans were assaulting, kidnapping, and SAing B1A4 stans. Things were obviously getting out of hand, so police stepped forward to clarify that none of those things happened.
Police officials revealed, “There weren’t any disturbances or crimes committed during the ‘Idol Star Athletic Championships. There was nothing out of the ordinary that occurred, nor were there any reports of such behavior.”
Happyface Entertainment released a statement about the rumors, basically imploring people to stop.
Happy Face Entertainment commented on the matter, “The hateful rumors have caused much pain to the Dal Shabet members. We hope that the spread of these false rumors will end.”
On January 10th, fans who visited Dal Shabet’s homepage met with several pop-ups that prevented them from entering the site. The pop-ups had a picture of B1A4 with the message, “Why are you messing with us Banas?” (Bana is the name of B1A4’s fanclub). B1A4 fans have also put up several notices and posts about B1A4 in other sections of Dal Shabet’s homepage, such as their schedule.
Serri was the member most affected by the rumors due to the finger being directly pointed at her in many of them, and she took to Twitter begging people to stop harassing her.
Serri even used Twitter to respond to the rumors, “I am writing to say how deeply upset I am at the horrible rumors being spread about me. Please stop spreading these lies, they are not true. Please stop haunting celebrities with these harmful rumors.”
This pissed off B1A4’s fandom even more, and eventually she basically had to release an apology for being threatened and told to k--- herself.
“Hi everyone, this is Serri from Dal Shabet. I just wanted to write and apologize to everyone who was hurt because of the things that happened towards the end of last year. We Dal Shabet are still rookies who debuted in 2011, and therefore we made a lot of mistakes until now. For a moment, we had forgotten that we are public figures who communicate with the masses, and I was so worried about people misunderstanding things that I had previously written to you, asking you not to misconstrue anything. But I think my words have hurt many, and for this I truly apologize. We are still new to this and there is plenty left to learn. We are unfamiliar with how to put our fans first and I feel like we acted before really thinking about how the public would feel. My heart has been extremely heavy thinking about this, and in my efforts to convey my genuine heart, I cautiously write this letter to all of you. I am truly sorry. I will work to become more prudent, learn to be more thankful for the fans’ love and support, and work harder to show you my best efforts.”
