Lipsync is embarrassing and shows that you're lazy and dont care about your craft. That's a huge dealbreaker for me when following a group (not 10-20% lipsync, maybe you're sick sometimes, or the show in question doesn't allow live. Shit happens. But groups that do it >50% of the time are so embarrassing).

Also, Mid vocalists singing live > good vocalists lazily lipsyncing.

Mamamoo for girl groups, best GG vocal line of the gen, great rapper who writes the bars herself, they're not really dancers, but still have great stage presence so it doesn't matter too much.

Boy group wise, fuck it, I'll put Pentagon first. I will always vouch for them cause they have multiple genius songwriters on top of having no single real weakness in the group (except getting caught up in false scandals for some reason).

Oh believe me I've seen it happen first hand. One of my faves posted a fan song on youtube, which got hacked by orbits to say "flops, stan loona instead". Also continous comparisons to terrorists for an entire year. Another one of my faves disbanded and Orbits danced on their graves for no reason.

This was years ago, but to this day, it's the only time they crossed my line of "the fans shouldnt affect your take on the artist". In this case they most certainly did.
