Groups I thought would be bigger than they are.

StayC, yea
They were walking a very good path, they had kpop fans interest, they were praised for their looks and talent, they were everywhere during their 18 first months of activity. And then POOF, people lost interest in them, out of thin air. It’s a case to be studied. It took them one Beautiful Monster to be left in the dust. Teddy Bear was nice and brought them some momentum, but it did fade away fast.
Personally, I didn’t like any release after Beautiful Monster. I’m still attached to So Bad and wish they kept maturing the concept instead of what they are putting out right now.

This might sound weird but it's f(x) for me.
I know they wre much bigger than lots of groups, but considering they debuted in SM and the success of other SM groups, I remember that I was surprised that their popularity wasn't as big. Even when you compare to the groups that came after them.
And from smaller groups, Hello Venus, if anyone still remembers them. I guess they were growing and doing well until the members' change and concept change, but it all kind of fell apart after this. They had good music and their main visual was more known among gp, but it didn't help.
