The odds are on Illit’s side. So I believe Youngseo traded 6 for half a dozen. And still, Illit has the possibilty to open doors that ADO doesn’t.
I see what TBL tried with ‘Wicked’. It’s a release for the audience that supports the most KARD, Brazilian fans. And even for us…. The song ain’t it.
I’m sorry for the idols that debuted in this already a sinking ship. It’s really sad, they all got talent and visual value that could be huge if invested in a more traditional debut… Let’s leave it at that.
Hopefully, they prove me wrong. I just can’t see it happening tho, sadly

It’s a simple song. I’m not the biggest fan of the absent bridge connecting the first chorus. BUT, but, I like the song. Could it be because the chorus is really catchy and I’ve been exposed to it for way too many times before? Possibly. Regardless, I like it. I just wish SM had put in more effort into producing the song and maybe hiring a better lyricist. I mean, I really liked the reference to ‘Next Level’ with the ‘work it out’ lines. But I’m not fond of the ‘work work work work’ after the chorus.
I could say I had no complaints about the MV which is mostly amazing. I didn’t mind de the mud, but was is really necessary the sewage scenes? Ew.
The girls were gorgeous, as usual. I love Karina’s short do, Winter in bangs and Giselle in that red colour

SM have been
leakingteasing the song for us for so long now it got me thinking:1) It's 2025 and we still have english lyrics being poorly pronounced by idols. How come labels allow it? Isn't it harmful to the globalization process of a kpop group? I mean, people inside the kpop bubble (us, kpop fans), we're used to decades of mispronounciation. But what about the targeted general public? Mispronounced words provoke a cringe feeling on listeners that aren't regular listeners of the kpop genre. And nope, there' nothing to do with the fact that english isn't, most of the time, the native language of kpop idols. As long as one practices, it's 100% possible to pronounce anything in any language properly.
2) SM is giving off 2010's JYP 'I'll spoil the chorus of the song before its release' promotion method. It's taking too long and it feels like I already know the song. Could it impact the comeback? Or do you think it's a good way to create hype? I don't remember aespa's comebacks being this exposed to the audience in such advance.
I just want the song to be released already! This backwards line of releases got me nervous

On a serious note, I like the group and did like Famous. It didn't surprise me that I like them, I just doubt their public appeal... Dind't work for KARD or Coed School back in the day, so it's natural for me to avoid betting they'll be big.
I don't know what's up with Tarzzan other than I totaly hate his stage name, I'm too lazy to look it up. So my opinion doens't regards his controversy.

The MV is absolute ART. It's clear as day JYP did go big for this comeback and I just love this concept so much. I'm as much in love with this MV as I was/am with T-ara's dystopian Day by Day.
But I had to vote flor blop. Cause' the song alone... isn't strong without the MV to me. I'm sad to say it. Well, regardless, I'm suportting Itzy, like usual. They are too great of a group to be left in the dust. I hope they do good this comeback ♥
