Another event struggling to sellout overseas like Immortal Song. And Ateez was part of that lineup too :dohnoes:

  • That doesn't appear to be the complete lineup:

  • Ateez isn't the problem

The other artists you have listed thus far, aren't even that big/popular to really make an impact (Minus Hwasa).

But the others are rappers or r&b.

I'm sure more will be revealed for the line up because if this is all there is, it's no wonder people aren't buying. Ateez is already over-worked and just did a huge tour, i paid $250 for my ticket, and people paid more. why would we want to spent another huge amount to see them perform just a couple of songs?

The pricing seems a bit ridiculous for what's posted so far, so hopefully there's more to be announced.

  • This one is understandable, I guess. ATEEZ is the only touring power and their tour just ended last month with over 200,000 tickets sold on US.

Krazy Super Festival has well known names and It's not doing good too

I think It was a mistake to put 2 dates.

  • The prices are ridiculous!

The recent Imagine dragons concert in Chicago costed 450 dollars for VIP or closest to the stage sector

And Imagine Dragons are huge in US even bigger than BTS here!

  • Of course it's flopping, they don't even have a website for it. The main Waterbomb website just leads you to a dead link. If they're not going to promote it properly, they can't expect anyone to show up. Especially with such a lackluster lineup.

  • I think that the people are not willing to pay more for more acts. Esp when these individual acts are touring on their own.

These type of festivals used to be useful when kpop groups didn’t have dedicated world tours.

Perhaps they can try it in places where kpop cons are not as frequent like US.

  • Ateez is already over-worked and just did a huge tour, i paid $250 for my ticket, and people paid more. why would we want to spent another huge amount to see them perform just a couple of songs?

Since this is Waterbomb, Ateez might be performing shirtless, so perhaps that's worth the premium?

  • Whoever is in charge with these events are really overestimating kpop's overall popularity there lol

The list is mostly soloists and khiphop artists. They don't have that many hardcore fans who would pay that much...

  • Still dont know them not worthy lol

As for ateez they may throw water on themselves lol

  • They've dropped prices. personally still think it's too much. was considering going since I live in the are but I still got the extra covid lbs on me ;( and it looks like it'll be a flop.

  • This isn't about the artists, it's about the ticket price, obviously.

Also, most Kpop fans, especially in the US are mainstream stans or just one group stans. They won't pay 200usd for a 15 minute performance! Especially if they don't live in LA.

Not to mention, the planning is utter garbage. This isn't a festival like in Asia, it's a concert, that's why no one is interested.

  • Ateez is the only relevant group there and they already did a huge tour in the US so like who was the target audience here lol.

    Kpop isn’t that relevant here.

Plus it's America lol who wants to go to a water wasting concert with a bunch of naked people on stage? Nobody lol wrong culture wrong country wrong people lol

  • From their latest Instagram post:

We’ve heard you loud and clear! Waterbomb LA team is thrilled to announce that our event has been enhanced to a full standing festival. We’ve removed the seated area and unified the floor to provide you with an even more immersive festival experience.

All seated ticket holders will receive a full refund via AXS, along with a special code to secure your spot at the event. VIP Floor ticket holders will receive an automatic discount credited to their accounts. Further details will be shared in our next post. If you currently hold a GA Floor or VIP Floor ticket, there’s no need to worry—you can keep your ticket. All tickets have now been converted to GA Floor tickets! Please note that all tickets are now GA Floor only, and due to limited capacity, they’re expected to sell out quickly. Make sure to secure yours while they last!

Q: Why did we get rid of seated and VIP Floor Tickets?

A: Removing the stadium seating and not having to separate the floor allows for a bigger capacity on the floor. We also wanted to give our fans a festival experience.

  • It looks like the organisers have changed their mind once again, as there will now be a separate area next to the stage for VIP ticket holders:

  • Originally they were asking for Ticket Prices that were on average around what TWICE's recent American Concerts were charging.

Are the Organizers that deluded to think that any Artists on their List could attract the same crowds that TWICE does when they are exploiting those Artists' fans by giving them a fraction of the time that TWICE performs at their Concerts?

Armies are more gullible and probably Stays as both have fans posing as ATM's whereas Once's and Blinks prefer not to have sausages on their Menu.

To make it clear, it's American Organizers that put these Events on, thinking they can cash in on Kpop but they are influenced by Korean business persons but that's not going to last long because this is another failed Korean Event due to empty seats rather than content.
