Why can't new jeans get impressive views if they're that popular?

They have good views, but majority of their views are not in their music videos, because their music videos have no replay value. You have to take account they have 5min music videos where 2min of it is like empty. Nobody want to put that kind of video into their playlist.

This is based by YT music. It is not anywhere close where Blackpink is, but it is good for 4th gen standards.

The YT MV usually come from international fans.. Newjeans is popular in korea and they have their own streaming platform. Ive and NJ is the top GG rn in korea and according to melon, almost all song in top 10 song among 4th gen came from this 2 group

Imo the group and members are not really as popular as their songs are

With BP, people like BP themselves first and then the music. NJ videos aren’t really that hype or interesting but their music is really nice and has a lot of replay value.

They just don’t have that level of charisma that people want to watch them as much as they listen to their songs.

I think YG is so good at choosing members with different features for groups, especially their girl groups.

NJ has very good MV views overall as compared to other GGs. Their views are well spread out to related videos like performance video, choreo and MV ver A/B etc.

And very likely they achieved these too without using ads, so the views are impressive

The only 4th/5th gen groups still getting massive views are ITZY (declining) and Baemon (strong SEA support which is big consumer of YT)

Girl this is good for ANY standards, not only for so called 4th gen standards.

Views are too inflated, even very popular people don't get as many views as K-pop videos.

The problem is that already 100 million views is an incredible figure, even 10 million views is a huge figure for which YouTube pays a generous reward. But k-pop spends all its money on promotion, earning very little on the platform, even with 400 million.
