IVE are perfectly capable singers (there are so many videos of them singing live, even their music show promotions for I Am were more live than most other 4th gen ggs concerts), but people just project their fantasies onto IVE (especially on this forum) and then say them as if they're fact because they're just so desperate to hate them for some reason. I'm not even an IVE fan but I feel like I am one whenever I scroll through these posts because they have some legit demented haters here.

Liz will slay while the others better keep it low. One mistake and the vultures will come flying.

most of ive member vocal are pleasent to hear, and they seems comfortable singing live.what i hope is they can hype up the crowd and enjoy the stage.

Well watching the showdown of Lord of the idiots where inetz and knetz produce the exact same hate comments and then post each other comments on respective forum and vilify each other is a sort of psychological study that can be interesting at times I guess…

the most hated 4th gen girl group would probably go to ive, like antis cant stand them breathing- but unlike lesserafim, they can sing live

IVE is going to be fine. They sing with at least a 50% volume vocal backing track. Maybe Yujin and Liz will do a lower one like 30% volume, but since this is an outdoor festival they will probably do 50%. Saw them on tour, they sounded fine and didn't sound lipsynced like the groups that blast the vocal backing track to the point even if they shouted she couldn't hear them over a vocal backing track like Everglow.

The issue with LSF at Coachella is they used a live band and tried to sing without a vocal backing track. It is super hard to do and sound stable and consistent while doing choreo, and even harder if you are primarily a dancer not a trained vocalist. In the rock world, they don't use vocal backing tracks at all and the singers would like frogs croaking half the times.

Lollopolooza let New Jeans use a vocal backing track and they are going to let IVE and VCHA do it as well. This isn't going to be LSF at Coachella part 2.

Watch them pull out an amazing performance

I think that IVE will be fine. It was nice to hear them singing live when it happened.

Kakao are amateurs. They even bought a company for this but got busted. YGE are the pros. Look, watch and learn how the pros astroturf in the next 12 months. Its how they made BP the #1 gg in the world.

I second this. IVE have already proven they're more than capable of holding their own with their live vocals, and they'll have a ton of touring experience by the time they perform at Lollapalooza. Anyone hoping for that stage to become an opportunity to tear them down will be bitterly disappointed, especially those demented haters. I personally can't wait to dive into IVE at Lollapalooza this summer.

I'm hoping it'll be a hand mic performance, they tend to go for a lower backtrack when they use hand mics.

Either way Starship seems to do a good job at setting them up to succeed and getting the most out of their abilities so there should be nothing to worry about.

If you watched their encore they've been doing well since debut. The only one which I think is weaker is Gaeul and I'm even saying this even if she is my bias but she improved bit by bit every single comeback

And their recent world tour have been amazing for their CONFIDENCE. Vocals and singing has always been about confidence you can't sing sounding timid

They've been slaying the vocals and I'm saying this as someone who went to watch them live in Singapore when they came to perform, and I'm glad knetz sees and hears that as well

Only the haters see them as weak and vocally challenges, and those people will show their faces again when IVE makes their comeback.

They better pray it isn't a song like I AM because that song truly ended their faves as IVE belts out high notes while the groups just mumble sing or talk

Why would they be? IVE won't be going full live, they will use backtrack to help the set so we won't get any controversy. I hope more groups does live but I don't think Kpop industry is ready yet.
