Like 100m? Or even more?

I think at least 30% is ad views, but the likes surprised me
-
hmm I'm curious as well, I mean i'm not a GG stan and their song wasn't that bad but it felt like a typical song black pink could put out. I am inclined to agree that it's probably a combination of ad views, people curious and checking them out, yg group fans/supporters. They are the newest thing from YG so people are going to be curious. I guess if they throw out a proper album and do an actual comeback that would tell just how popular they may actually be.

They’re in BP and red velvet mix playlist
-
SEA stans have mastered the art of churning youtube views.

Around 109.5M views were ADS.

Yeah Known Ad-Promoted K-Pop MVs - Music Videos ARE advertisements (daisuki.com.br)
-
Half of their views are ads and half of it is from black pink fans. I do think they were very highly anticipated so it's not surprising they got a ton of interest. I will say that this marketing strategy is a good one because if these girls hit big then whose going to remember their song wasn't well received when all the stats say otherwise.
-
Same benefit as NewJeans get from being from same company as BTS, well, maybe more because of being the next girlgroup after BP. And they have been talked about for a long time. And to be fair, I did not really liked the song first, but it did get a bit better after some listenings and the group have a lot of potential, so I have a couple of views. I can get bet money BM will be one of the top groups.

pretty sure BP fans have zero interest in Baemon.

the percentage of BP stans that actually like YG has to be like single digits.
Only because there aren’t any YG groups rn other than BP. Lol who will they support.
Makes complete sense for the BP Stan’s to be into Baemon tho. Being a company stan is a part of being a kpop fan. So Junior group will always get attention and support.

People need to know that site isn’t reliable. As you have said they have 109.5 million ad views + but in youtube weekly chart they already have 136.5 Million views on January 11. Shouldn’t this make their yt views with more than 242 M views as of now? There’s a huge discrepancy.

YouTube music charts: Global Weekly Top Music Videos
They gained 5.1M for Batter Up here for the week of Jan 5-11, 2024.

On Spotify they were just a bit below Aespa level for about 2 months after their debut and smashing Ive.

Like others said, company stans and ads. More than 50% of their views are ads which is imo insane

Naevis had an off day and did not keep the numbers in check

This made me curious, so I checked myself.
YouTube weekly top music video chart -
Nov 24-30: 24.5 million views
Dec 1-7: 12 million views
Dec 8-14: 7.2 million views
Dec 15-21: 5.9 million views
Dec 22-28: 5.6 million views
Dec 29-Jan 4: 5.2 million views
Jan 5-11: 5.2 million views
Total: 65.6 million views (up to Jan 11)
According to Kworb.net, the total views for those weeks were -
Nov 24-30: 52.4 million views
Dec 1-7: 30.4 million views
Dec 8-14: 18.2 million views
Dec 15-21: 17.5 million views
Dec 22-28: 21.3 million views
Dec 29-Jan 4: 19.2 million views
Jan 5-11: 20.6 million views
Total: 179.6 million views (up to Jan 11)
That’s approximately 114 million ads in the first 7 weeks, only up till January 11th, with ads continuing to make up the vast majority of views even in the seventh week.
It seems that ads are still continuing to be bought, but we’ll need to see the next YouTube chart which should update probably tomorrow to get more recent info.

Aespa international digital performance was always inconsistent
IVE already peaked. I don't even see them finishing the generation in top 5 internationally anymore

Isn't 65 million too low for 2 million likes? OMG has only 1.7 million likes and is a much bigger hit
Any chance of YG boosting like numbers as well?

Nah company stans always say that but will always check out junior groups lol.
Most of BP fans are not company fans though?
