Stray Kids doesn't have specific positions apart from leader and members in producing, dance and vocal rachas. But If I went to give them traditional positions, It would be something like:

I have a hard time trying to give positions to NewJeans as whole, cause I genuinely think they are more well-balanced than most groups I have aknowledge about.
But I think It's stabilized Hanni is their best singer, followed by Dani. And Hanni/Haerin are their best dancers.

Oh he's definitely a perfect Face of the group.
He is usually the first member that grabs the attention for anyone that's new to SKZ and the first member they'll recognize (mostly because they utilize his deep voice well + charisma). I see being easily recognizable and a stan-attractor as important as a FOTG. Which he is. Plus, like you said, he does promote a lot by himself.
Also Felix is just super likable. Simple as that. Of course his voice and his looks makes him likable first glance, but then the way he carries himself and his aura comes off as very warm and kind, so even people who aren't fans of SKZ still will like him and see him in a positive light. A good image to represent SKZ.
Boy. I hate the visual position. Makes me remember how shallow is Kpop and kpop stans.
For me the worst "maknae" being a position. Sometimes idols make their whole on-camera personality being the youngest
