I don't think she's faking it, if that's what you're implying. I really hope she realizes she's great and good-looking the way she is.
It's hard for you to understand since you haven't dealt with it, but there are gorgeous people out there who don't feel great about how they look. What they see is completely different from how we view them. Body dysmorphic disorder is awful like that.

People really underestimate how common body dysmorphia is.
Hard to be a Kpop visual, esp with this generation. Competition is HELLA fierce right now. Wonyoung, Karina, Miyeon, Sakura, Yuna, Minji, Sullyoon...and this is just the list of offical or unofficial visuals of the top 7 Kpop groups outside of Stayc.
If i started listing other idols that are always praised for their looks in Korea (Winter, Yujin, Leeseo, Chaewon, Kazuha, Shuhua, Yeji, Haerin), idols from 2nd and 3rd tier groups (Yiren, Heejin, Nana), soloists (Somi, Eunbi, Yuri), and 3rd gen groups still active (Mina, Jennie, Jisoo, Sana, Arin, Yooa, Irene), you can see how one might feel insecure from time to time. 
Anyone else find baldguy's posts to be the biggest cringe ever?
Not surprising considering the constant judgment from the public and staff on how they look.
Feelings like this are probably very common for idols, most just don't publicly express them.
when you're tired and working too much is easier to get this type of thoughts
also I don't know if it was filmed already in Japan when girls landed or day before but if in Japan then well Japanese girls are even more petite than Korean

in contrary of giving them lesons about how to appear in public , company should also give them about how to boost your confidence because it's obvious that some idols have no more confidence in themselves after reading some comment
