It's not even just about album sales or touring numbers. That's fandom. And Mamamoo still has one of the most loyal, loving fandoms in K-Pop.

I was talking overall popularity, and Mamamoo were huge in Korea at their peaks. People like to pretend Gen 3 was all about Big 3, when it wasn't. Mamamoo, and for a shorter period of time, GFriend both had something to say about that back then.

GGs from non big 4 include Idle, Stayc, and Ive, plus MMM and Gfriend from 3rd gen.

I would say it is Gidle. They have insane longevity if you think they are almost 6 years old and they still do digitally better than any 4th gen group that is over 2 years old. In YT queendom is doing better than any 4th gen song this year except cupid.

For boygroups, yes. Would be Seventeen if they weren't bought by Hybe. I think that Ateez choices for title tracks prevented them from getting bigger than they could, though.

Overall, it's IVE then (g)-idle as they have better national and international charting plus sales.

Obviously not counting the groups that disbanded and don't exist anymore or look like are in permanent hiatus.
