Dumb name. Questionable member selections, but I wish the girls luck.
Unfortunately, I won't be stanning, but I'll definitely be tuned into their debut.
Oofty. Isn’t Camila like a foot taller than the rest of them? Regardless, wish them all the best! The name is whack though but I mean most groups have terrible names these days.
So many questionable decisions were made with this group. Like, who are you trying to appeal to with a name like VCHA?! WHO!? But, whatever. I'm interested to see what their pre-debut looks like, and I'll probably check out their debut, but after that, I'm checking out. This group ain't for me.
After Nizi Project 2 finishes airing, I am not watching another JYPE survival show.
This group will flop big time

Same. We’ll see if the idol production magic turns them into something. But as of now, I’m skeptical.
I like Nizi Project Season 2 but I was honestly hoping for more from the J-JYP boys. I mean even though some of the early Rima moments were cringy, her, Miihi and Mako atleast had the idol spark from the get go. I’m holding out that once we get to Korea the boys get some Kira Kira moments.
Sorry for being off topic! But yeah.. this might be my last JYP show as well. (I only watched perfs of A2K because I was not feeling the auditions. So I wrote em off lol but I do like the girls.)
13 yo
13????

I get off topic all the time, so no worries lol. We'll see. I think their pre-debut releases in like an hour and a half, so that will be a good indication on if JYPE has a good handle on how to promote these girls.
Honestly, I'm enjoying the 2nd season of Nizi Project more than the 1st one. I only watched the Japanese training camp for the 1st season because my main pick left the show, but I think I am going to watch the full one of the 2nd season. The boys are still rough around the edges, but they are so talented. The only way I'm dropping is if Yu gets cut.
I only watched bits and pieces of this show, but already caught some of JYP's questionable feedback (both unjustified praises and criticism) on various contestants
Also, a 13 year old...
Man, there has to be a limit to the debut age
Like, watching JYP criticize Western girls gave me a different perspective on how much I disagree with him. When watching him do Korean and Japanese shows, I figured maybe I couldn't understand what appeals to them as a Westerner, so I ignored when I disagreed with JYP.
But, watching him criticize Western girls, especially when it comes to vocal prowess and "star" factor when it comes to performing, it really made me wonder if he knew wtf he was talking about. Because there were some people who sounded TERRIBLE, and he would compliment them to heaven and back and I was like...wtf?
It really shed some light on why so many people end up making it big after they leave JYPE. I wonder how many extraordinary people were passed over because they didn't have that JYP "it", which honestly, I have no idea what "it" is at this point. This show has made me so confused on what they look for. Despite the fact I love so many of their groups.
Vcha???
does it stand for something???
L
I'll check out the debut and I wish they luck

I think it's supposed to be the Korean word for "light" or something, but written in English. I think it's "Bicha", but some reason they wrote it with a V instead lol.

bicha I'm going solo???
cheers mte
Come on Eyelid better than Viçaa Honestly, Gina deserved to debut. She has strong vocals and is a good dancer, but she is criticized just for her facial expressions. It was a very lame excuse. I hope she applies to another company, debuts in another group and becomes more succesful. I'm glad Lexi and Kg were called out immediately. Because one is the main dancer and the other is the main vocalist.
Not Gina dropping her debut single an hour before A2K's lmao.
Smart, ngl.

Gina dropped a song. The lyricism is lacking, but she sounds great!

Oh, so it's pronounced eyelid? Why is it spelled like that?! It sounds okay but both are stupid, both groups have names that i don't know how to pronounce lol
But vcha might bit worse. Kpop companies got used to givings stupid names, and kpop fans got used to it. But jyp forgot this isn't Korea. In fact, he completely forgot he's not in korea, he gave a korean name to a group that targets the us market lol

Agree. When he tried to give them pointers on singing when they actually sounded better before his "tips" lol and the trite criticism about how Gina lacked emotions was so meh when she clearly has star factors and talents. Funny seeing him going on and on about the be yourself theme when he seems to want them to be a certain ways

I don't like anything about this
Not sure why she decided to utilize ALL of her JYPE training by "rapping". Whoever wrote the song...did her a disservice lol, but she's talented, and with a good song, she could gain a real fanbase.
Nothing about the rap is good. Her flow, lyrics, diction, nothing. She has a nice voice, cringy lyrics sounds better when they are sung

Seeing this made me less salty lol.
Same thing happened with NiziU too. I was so salty with that line up, but felt less salty when "Make You Happy" dropped.
Camilla's a fucking star, and I am supporting her and Savanna from afar lol.
A 13 year old? That was certainly a choice.
