Ooohhh. I see. So the CNCB article has combined the actual news with the earlier rumors.

I don't need the rumors to be true to profit!
Keep those doom articles coming

Like Warren Buffet said "be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy only when others are fearful"

Again "reportedly"

Just do a long straddle option strategy. YG shares will move significantly up or down depending on the decision.
You benefit either way.
Never thought I'd see talk of options trading on AKP.
I'm feeling a little more aggressive than a risk adverse play like that though

Risk averse? I guess it's way less risky than outright shorting the stock or even buying shares...but arent long straddle options strategies fairly pricey since you're buying both the call and put at the money instead of buying cheaper ootm options? And implied volatility might have already spiked which would make these options even more expensive relative to historical patterns...

I only meant risk adverse in the sense that I would go all in on one side of the market without using any kind of hedging strategies like straddles. Which was just me throwing caution to the wind.
Honestly, trading on any foreign exchange (which I'd have to do) is already pricey in itself due to the fees and taxes foreign investors have to deal with
Already bounced back to its price earlier yesterday. People are playing games with YG's stock.
