I don't think Kiss Of Life is analogical to Everglow. As I said in my comment Secret Number seems to be more comparable. Kiss Of Life is getting pretty good promotion in South Korea, which is turning into attention. Their agency, tho previously unheard of, is doing a pretty good job getting them gigs.
The opposite was true for Everglow and Secret Number, they had international hype but remained nugu domestically.
Everglow at least sold 44k albums while Secret Number 3k this year. I don't think Secret Number is good comparison at all

JYP Entertainment has a market cap of 3.2 trillion won, about 2.4 billion USD. JYP owns 15 percent of shares, that means he has 360 million USD in just shares of the company, not including the untold millions he has in other investments. He probably has a net worth of 400-500 million at least. 750k USD is a few days interest/dividend/capital gain for him. He won't even notice it's gone.
On top of that he may get some tax benefits from the donation
