well their biggest hit was released 4 years ago so that's pretty long in kpop times, but yeah Nakka was a big hit and that was their last release, so it makes no sense to assume they're done

Well tbh i forgot about Nakka, that's how non impactful it was. It wasnt huge at all, it peaked at #4 on Melon Weekly and it looks like it fell out of top 10 on Melon Weekly after only 3 months or so which is poor longevity these days. It was completely overshadowed by Butter, Next Level and even Traffic Stop or whatever that song was called. Plus they had IU on it and still couldnt make much of a splash 
akmu are genius level, glad to see them shine everytime.
I mean that heartbreak song is still charting top 100 after 3 years so understandably that's their peak
Akmu never really failed for long time. Each time their next release doesnt do as well as the last, they will pick up with the subsequent release. Korean GPs are not giving up on them

Well their last song made no noise, it was a top 5 hit but i dont think anyone here remembers it, even with literal IU as its featured star. That was the summer of Butter vs Next Level and Nakka got lost in the fray.
With the dude having to do his military service and AKMU doing solo releases instead (both members did solo releases), i thought they would be on hiatus for longer or even disbanded.

Nakka was really big in Korea. I remember tons of vocal covers when it was released
