Since the Bang Chan-Wonyoung accident, Bang Chan no longer does his livestreams, and Skz fans think JYP is punishing him by not letting him do livestreams, so they sent a truck. Instead, Bang Chan came and wrote something that implies he feels embarrassed by Skz fans actions and tells them let him handle things himself. Thoughts? Some say he’s right but some say he’s ungrateful for fans’ love?
Bang Chan tells Skz fans they are embarrassing for sending trucks to JYP to protest his mistreatment

I told them this would happen. After this 🤡🤡🤡 bs over what he said which is actually normal and ok and is common amongst our culture even more so in the entertainment industry and other work environments. Nothing he did was wrong.
Fans taking his words to go attack others and weponize things and also the backlash from other clowns accusing him🤡🤡🤡. This situation is 10000000% fans fault not his. If he ended chans room after that shit show it's deserved it proved that fans are too fuckin immature and can't handle real life idols, so nothing but sterile vlive for you. Every time you cry about wanting idols to be real and not robots, you chimp out the moment they show you real life. So you deserve nothing!
He likely didn't want to initially end it for good, but JYP stepping in to lend a hand on a tough decision is a good thing too. I would have done the same thing if i ran the company. After seeing the sheer R tard stupidity from 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 I'd be like ok no more lives for you guys you don't deserve to see the boys at all

This is my 'gotcha!/I told you so' moment!
This fandom is embarrassing and a disease. They were literally harassing a lot of people in the fandom, including big translation accounts, that prefered to not act like a freak, but a normal human being and not supporting hashtags and trucks or like if they know deep down what's happening in JYPE building screaming 'mistreatment!'
Anyway, It's been two days he's sending messages for STAY to stop, but they are so stupid and have self awareness so he had to be even MORE clear (even though he's been clear to me since the very first message)

This isn't the first time Chan has tried to talk some sense into these weird obsessive parts of fandom culture. I remember there was something where he told fans to basically lay off for trying to tell SKZ what type of jokes they could tell each other and not. As if fans(strangers) know the type of humor, inside jokes and what each person in these friendships consider too far and not. Pointing out the obvious thing that they themselves know each other and will TALK to each other if they didn't like a joke/teasing, so fans really need to not try to decide these things and need to respect them.
I remember thinking to myself it's great that he tries to lay a boundary. But sadly there will always be these types of fans acting like they know these idols & the situation personally, and even acting as if they know what would be better than they know themselves.

Kpop fans being embarrassing is a given

I'm really appreciating this trend of idols speaking their mind.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that Bang never should have complained about folks not bowing to him. There was nothing good that could have ever come out of that.
Fans want to hear real shit from their faves, i get that, but that kinda real talk should be focused on their faves themselves. Their hopes, their background, stories about their childhood, training, family life. If they wanna talk about other idols, that shit has to be POSITIVE i repeat POSITIVE stories about interactions with these other idols, his friendships with Lisa, Twice, etc.
Complaining about younger idols not bowing to him not only results in these crazy fanwars that spin out of control, it also makes him look insecure. Folks value confidence, self assurance, if you get overly emotional over something as trivial as this, it just makes you look weak. And now it's gotten to the point where he is publicly shading his own fans, which might put a damper on all their recent momentum.

idols speaking their mind is a good thing, but yes if this is going to become more commonplace then unspoken rules like "keep things positive" will probably have to be in place so that companies dont shut it down out of fear of the fans (for now)
I applaud Bang Chan for speaking his mind tho, and acknowledge that there will be bumps along the way to letting idols be more open. It's a real shame that Chan's Room won't be happening any more

it's better this way

He was in the right. If he wasn't forced to backed down, he would have won public opinion.
The live streams ended most likely by management to reduce the risk of another incident happening that could have really damaged the group and its profitability. i.e. offending some minority or religion.

Some STAYs are so embarrassing. Is it really that hard to take the hint, even before he posted any of this?

It's been quite a year for truck rental businesses this year huh

Taeyang said the exact same thing. I see nothing wrong with calling younger people out for their rudeness. I prefer to know if idols are rude to other people. Why allow someone to climb to the top when they are so undeserving? The reason the entertainment industry is such a mess and people get so hurt when they find out how nasty their “idols” really are is because idols are allowed and encouraged to hide behind a mask to get people to consume their products. I would rather know that the product I am buying is a sack of shit sprayed with perfume instead of a rose.

I agree. Being called out early is really a good thing, and it gives the idol a chance to correct what they are doing early.
But if no one says anything and when you get exposed its already at the Irene level, there is really no coming back. Yes RV is still around and doing ok, but without the scandal, they would be a lot bigger, since SM gave up on marketing them, and debuted Aespa a couple of weeks after the scandal. -
