i think it’s no surprise to ppl kpop fans are more dedicated. Plus you’d have to spend 1k for a ticket to korea to see them and no chance they will return, so kpop fans are willing to go the extra mile to see them.
Ariana grande definitely could pull a stadium tour, while ppl like SZA, Miley are more GP artist in their perspective genre with less die hard fans.
Selena definitely isn’t known enough for her music to be anywhere close to a stadium tour.
My point is, my friend in HS took off a whole week, and flew to chicago for an EXO concert in 2016/2017. Ppl aren’t doing that for SZA lol. Plus it’d be easier for SZA to just hold two smaller concerts in two different cities, as foreign artist, it’s not really worth it for kpop idols to go to 2/3 cities in the same state, so usually they just pick a major city in each region and expect fans to travel.

Ariana last tour was like 4 years ago same goes to Selena which was like 6 years ago plus we all know she ain’t a strong performer.
SZA has always been huge in the US but local however with SOS she blew up internationally, she can’t do some stadiums right up. She can do it in some years.
Also both twice and BP started at the bottom.

Twice and BP don’t do that many tour dates in the US. When American Artists tour they do do like 40-50 dates just in the US. I thought this was easy to understand lol.
People want to see American artists in every city in the US. And American Artists want to meet their fans in all the cities they can as well.
Now there are artists who genuinely can’t really fill concert venues as well and that’s another case.

I mean truth be told the price of concert tickets in the US are astronomical regardless so even holding a “small” tour of 97 shows still grossed almost $150 million dollars for Sweetener.

SZA has like two albums. Miley is a singles artist and her whole albums sucks. Selena is a bad performer and more of an influencer these days. You really think thousands of casual fans want to spend hundreds of dollars to see them perform for nearly 3 hours?
Ariana is boring.
Taylor Swift and Beyonce literally have built up their careers slowly to be able to do multi stadium dates.

The artists you mentioned play 50 date arena shows instead and cover way more cities than K-Pop acts will. Make of that what you will. It's a different strategy and also tends to play out in a much longer promo cycle which is good for longevity.

we are talking about female artists specifically y western female artists not sure why you are bringing up a group that isn't related to the conversation. it's obvious we are focusing on female artists that are more mainstream in America

There's a difference in having a stadium concert with only 2 or 4 dates in major cities (LA or NYC). And playing a sold out shows in arena with 30-50 dates in every city in the USA.
The comparison is wild cause neither Twice nor BP is pulling the same concert audience in the US like Ariana or SZA. I don't know about Miley if she's touring tho but I'm sure she can pull the same amount of audience as SZA. Ang Selena? Isn't she more of a celebrity-influencer?

Same, some times I see big evennts like the Grammy and 50% of the nominees I'm like who tf are these guys...or things like Coachella and Lallapalooza I only really knew the Kpop acts this year and things like Bille obviously lol.
