I'm baffled by the comments about them, why so many people seems bothered or struggle to admit they do very well in Korea?

It's not because they're not that big internationnally they're doing bad, many people forget that local success matters a lot and OMG is very loved in Korea.

After their hit with Dolphin/nonstop their follow up dun dun dance did also well. But than real love didnt do well.

Thats similar to Brave Girls who had been successful with rollin/we Ride and their follow up cmbr. But thank you didnt do well.

Seeing the behavior of Kpop Fans we can be lucky oh my girl didnt get called one Hit Wonder.

I hope they keep rising on the chart and maintain their stand in Kpop.

aoa is second gen ( don't ruin my comment lol) I only considered brave girls because they rerbranded in 2016 and that's when they consider their debut date.

3rd gen rise for girl groups started in 2014 with red velvet. mamamoo then gfriend , etc

im happy for them but seems fhat they have lost majority of their fanbase. Their 1st day sales is only 10k which is much worse than previous releases

Well aoa is just one example. Some put the start of 3rd Gen in 2012 or 2013. Other say its Gen 2.5.

Doesnt change my point that i still need a few grown up idols to keep kpop interesting but the supply is becoming increasingly poor.

GG third gen started in 2011 with Apink and Brave Girls. AOA was 2012, literally no one calls them 2nd gen lol.
