I agree i have never understood all the hype that she gets, i never once noticed her onstage with stage demons like Soyeon, Yuqi and Miyeon up there with her.
As for OP's post...there are very few groups where the main dancer stands out. The only time it happens is if one member is super charismatic or if the other members just don't have much stage presence.

Like, literally 4 of their members are superb dancers that you wouldnt be able to identify who are the main dancers
Also, LE SSERAFIM. Despite people saying Kazuha is the best (in term of fluidity), I personally think Chaewon and Yunjin are on par and better in power.
Aespa, it is between Karina and Winter. Karina is better overall but most of the time, Winter delivered better to the eyes because of her sharp execution. Very pleasing to watch

kpop fandoms tend to put ballet dancers on a pedestal but in reality there are usually other members in their groups who excel more at idol dancing. after all fluidity / flexibility isn’t everything there is to dance, and there are habits ingrained into ballet dancers that might not be suitable for the type of choreos they need to execute as idols. aside from kazuha, twice’s mina is another example that comes to mind where the ballerina isn’t really the best dancer in their group
