Why is 3rd gen so short and forgotten?

It is not 3rd gen groups' fault that 4th gen stans decided their faves are from 4th gen just so they have some achievements. They just cut short 3rd generations as they please

Kpop is about the newest thing. Pretty soon every year will be a new generation.

3rd gen grpups are "forgotten" is that why so many 4th gen groups fandom feel the need to make X is the first 4th gen group to achieve this Remy Ma record and since you said its has been many years since 4th gen started now, why is this so, because popular 3rd gen groups started demolishing or going toe to toe with previous gen achievements from early 3rd gen itself

3rd gen is short because if 3rd gen was longer, then none of the current groups would seem impressive

3rd gen was significantly better than 2nd gen and 4th gen is 5 years in and still has a LONG way to go to catch up

4th gen Stan’s didn’t want to compete with 3rd gen so they arbitrarily determined 2018 was the new gen. There was no reason for GIDLE or SKZ to be in 4th gen at all. I would say 4th gen is only in 2020-2021 with on set of the first massive hit of 4th gen like Next Level. Groups before that are added just because their fans can’t cope.

Something dramatic has to happen for a new gen to start at the very list not some random year they all felt like making the beginning of a gen because nothing their favs did was impressive

For GGs, 3rd gen started in April 2011 with Brave Girls. 4th gen started in May 2018 with Gidle.

Who cares for them? I feel same for fourth gen

3rd gen ending in 2016 but 4th was only able to top charts in 2022, 6 years after their generation started and that's only because the Big dogs of 3rd gens went on a off-period. Not really impressive run and to think, 5th gens are coming

3rd gen actually seems kind of long when you realize that AOA and EXID are part of it. They feel like 2nd to me.
