I rather this type of scandal
sitting pretty while lip sync (just a minor scandal)

let say they pick the wrong members to sing a ballad ?

it can easily fix next time better send their best vocalist
or select a song that they could cover without or limited lip sync

there was no Newjeans scandal

That scandal was on MHJ and MHJ alone

this lol, people acting as if pretty much all kpop artists and many non-kpop artists aren't lipsyncing lol.

I would like to see this energy for all the award show performances that were completely lipsynced but people seem to have selective memory loss when it comes to that.

Sad thing that this scandal was easily avoidable. The company did not think this through. There was already so much criticism going on because of lip synced performances, I remember Aespa getting constantly bashed and I am not even a fan. This was never gonna slide even if it wasn't IVE. Poor choices, that's the truth.
