why would you call the girls crooks? i get your gripes at the privilege and the company itself, but the girls are basically just products/very young employees who got no say in anything

I can't imagine either Bigbang or Girl's Generation have any interest or intention to perform at award shows this year, I doubt they were just "snubbed". The anger seems misplaced, these groups are not in their hustle to the top phase anymore, they're all doing their own thing and only do comebacks on occasion.

That's why getting to a big company is everything. Idols under them don't even need to release anything, and they already get tons of fans just with the company name plastered behind their name. Not even need to give a good songs, because many will always still defend the group and talking about how good the terrible songs is.

I agree with your point, and Nayeon totally deserve a stage at there, yet I don't accept the Nmixx slander you doing here. It's the company fault, not the girls.

Why are you calling the girls themselves names though?

The song is hated by many, but regardless it has 100m streams on spotify, which MAMA is partnered with this year, and they sold well in terms of physical albums.

Talking about SM acts like they're some nugu company..lol if SNSD and RV aren't there its because they didn't wanna send them.

I can't even blame JYP to be honest. Like pinky kind of said, nmixx are a product at the end of the day, and the purpose of product is to generate profit for the company.

If show organisers are going to be dumb enough to throw money at an "unsatisfactory" group and company to have them perform on their Awards show, the company would be stupid to say no.

"Oh no, I must simply turn down these thousands of dollars because the product I don't think the group I own is very good!"

If they didn't go to MAMA, It would just mean we would have one less performance, no one would be put on their place.

They didn't go on MMA, but It didn't mean the poor Red Velvet, Girls Generation, Nayeon, Taeyeon or BIGBANG or a nugu non Kakao group was there to fill their empty space.

So why bother with these girls? Just turn off the livestream and go to the bathroom or smth when they appear, Its easy.

I am confused here. You mentioned the girls themselves and think they don’t deserve it because they didn’t have a good successful song. So if the deserving is about the quality of the song or how successful it was, why the idols themselves are the ones deserving/undeserving? All the other guests have their songs produced by others so the “offering” in their part is not about the songs but by their skills. If we go by skill and performance, Nmixx are more deserving than most.
