What’s some concepts/ genres you wish they’d incorporate in Kpop ?

I'd like to see a full EDM girl group.

As a middle eastern, I like to see the kpop take on it

But please a group of adults

Done with loud sexy concepts

I like weird RnB like The Internet but I guess KRnB in an idol context would be good

Mix in some psychedelia

Crystal Castles could be pulled off by G-IDLE if they get messier production with more noise, but tbh its hard to replicate what Alice Glass does

Arca could be done with aespa if they fully committed to weirdness

I also think that NJ could go further into 90s RnB but I hope they keep the dreamy element because lowkey I think that's their secret weapon. Dreamy yearning songs like Hype Boy/Hurt >>>>

A little of country…Rose’s part in Whistle was close and 4Minute members had a song with country music themed. Other then that, I don’t know of anything since.

Yep, its very common in 2nd gen because EDM, Trance, techno, etc was very popular in the 90s-20s but fallen out of style since.

Well like all things (the retro concept as of late) i'm sure it will come around again, all it takes is one big group to go HARD and the GP will get whiplash so bad all other groups for the following 8 months will follow suit lol

But maybe there is a group or a new one coming soon that will scratch that itch for you

Yep, just like how it just took one group to bring in the retro concept, and one group to bring in the mixed music concept, I can definitely see it happening.
