Is SM trying to kill Irene's career for good intentionally?

Tbh Irene was almost always about her visual, not like she is untalented, it's just that her visual is this insane and she seems super reserved, not a really funny personality so i think SME doesn't know what to do with her and just gave her something as she was jobless ??

It was a bad idea imo, but idk, what can they do for her? What she excels so much that they can use it as a strong strategy? Maybe they are trying to recover her image as RV can become a little inactive and the girls will probably focus on their solo activities.

I think someone at SM was trying to be too clever for their own good but failed. Probably thought since everyone was dunking on her for her scandal let's try to reclaim it by showing what she's really like with staff.

Except it's more like making a Top Gear type show with a convicted drunk driver to show how they're really like when sober, people are going to take it at face value and see through the dumb gimmick.

They couldve simply made a reality show about Irene going on holiday and have no real focus on the staff part, they simply are there for filming and occasional input. Lots of idols have vlog type shows

Im looking foward to the show tbh but its obvious what they were trying to do by making it related to staff... Instead of trying to force her look kind it would be better to just put her in a competition or mukbang show, something like that

SM might doing the show to clear Irene's name especially for the prior scandal which they implied it just her 'one time mistake' kind of thing. Unfortunately, in KPOP the netizens always have wild thought and the show intention is show obvious as there is no timing better for it. They could have done this type of show which have slightly focus on the staff long time ago

She has no career expert being a red velvet member currently. That's why SM got her this reality show job but it should have been just a normal one without involving staffs.
