    nah, Hanni is trending far far more than Hyein and even Haerin. Hanni is a star. She is talented and very very charming. Koreans are in love. And she is a stan attractor too.

    Also her korean sounding name and her looks that can pass as korean helps a lot too. If she had a more viet saunding name then it might be a bit different tho but with ifs...


    Yet despite being so popular, and even ranking clearly higher than Hearin and Jisoo on brand value, Minji the korean classic first love typa visual is overall more popular. And Minji ranked very high on the brand value and is the most famous NJ member in korea i think.


    Hanni is more like the charming face of NJ like Taeyeon was in SNSD, or like Nayeon in Twice or like Jennie too in BP. While Minji is more like Yoona or Suzy. A top korean visual it girl. Something Ssera doesn’t have.


    I think the closest member to Hanni in Ssera is Chaewon even tho she doesn’thave the same level of buzz/star factor, and to Minji it's Kazuha but Kazuha nationality and strong sounding japanese name is a no no. It's blocking her from becoming a top it girl.


    On the other hand with Minju and with the right song, Ssera could easily be on the same league as Ive. Just maybe a bit behind digitally but you know.

    she could have slayed if she was korean or had a less japanese sounding name. I mean she looks like a mix of Suzy and a bit of Jisoo. She is totally korea type but her nationality is limiting her.


    But i think the fact the Ssera doesn’t have a korean visual it girl is gonna keep them away from reaching at last Ive level in korea.

    Danielle is very likely soft dramatic indeed but with - 2/3 cm she could have easily been a flamboyant gamine too.

    That’s why i said the closest because she has the most dollish/pouty typa face after Yooa. But also she kinda has a gamine esscene to her. (Like a naive ingenue princess vibe).


    And Yerin is way too tall to be a gamine. She looks more like a classic natural or smth. I don’t know her evey well.

    Wow, their facial features are gorgeous. It's like the foxy/monolid typa vibe :thumbup:. I personally find Yeji and also Seulgi drop dead gorgeous, but i prefer Seulgi body type wayyy more.

    Not sure, some are pretty different in styles... but a lot of cute/youthful typa visuals.


    Personally if you take kibbe types, i find flamboyant gamines, gamines or soft classic or even soft dramatics the prettiest.


    I generally dislikes pure dramatics and pure naturals, specially natural dramatics. Meh. Too masculine or extravagant. Also i find pure classics bland and boring (like Yoona, Mina, Kazuha etc) and pure romantics too much and lacking elegance. So gamines it is.


    Gamines have youthful roundish features, they are small and feminine. Like Yooa, Seulgi, IU or Taeyeon.


    Also i like baby/doll faces or monolids/almond eyes with striking facial features again well embodied by either Yooa and Seulgi. But also by Danielle and Haerin or even Sulli and Krystal. If you get what i mean.


    Anything that is to tall or squarish or masculine is uggh, repulsive to me. I really dislike it. Like tall or big boned or square jaws, no waist or no hips. Eww.


    Someone like Hoyeon for example (overall) or Sooyoung (snsd) or Rose or Suzy. Nope. Nope. Nope.

    And the only tall woman i find genuinely beautiful is Sulli. (and Yeji)

    i think nj fandom is just too chill to bother with voting so much.


    that's also because no group really is a competition for them except BTS or BP. So why bother so much wining against them in voting? NJs impact numbers sells already speaks for themselves.


    Also both of these groups (BTS&BP) specially BTS has a beast like fandom so why even bother voting again?


    I think nj fandom just wants to enjoy the music, the girls and just chill. All this fandom wars/competition are a bit last generation smh. Also nj has a lot of casual listeners as well. And they're not going to vote.

    Also evil editing exists you know, they can set people up and show just what they want to damage someones image because maybe she was getting too popular and there was not enough place for her in the group so they can justify the elminiation via evil editing.

    her or jiwoo should have debuted. actually i donc understand how chanelle was not taken in. shes got the visuals, she can sing, dance and is charismatique. She speaks english fluently and can appeal to western audience even in asia they like mixed girls. Its like she got everything YET she was not put in. Like WTF ;judgingpepe:.


    And by the way she should have been the 7 member. Actually she is in top 3 overal in visuals and skills. :pepe-slash:

    Maybe prettier than Ssera because they have Iroha who i find much prettier than Kazuha, Sakura or even Garam and they also have very consistant visuals overall but not prettier than NJ.


    Theyre a visual group but NJ are very hard to beat or even to equal. I mean it's crazy, they have 4 great beauties like Minji Haerin Danielle and Hyein and Hanni is just barely behind but is the most charming member :wellr: .


    But Ill lit have Iroha Minju Yunah and Wonhee. They are all very pretty but only Iroha truly stands out as a great beauty. Minju is ... I don’t know a bit ... like i can’t explain, she is a visual jut her facial features are a bit too much idk. Wonhee is very pretty but not beautiful and Yunha is gorgeous but not on Hyeins level tho. Just not as pretty.


    So in conclusion yes prettier than Ssera and a visual group on par with Ive overall but not as pretty as NJ even less prettier.

    BP are more hot/charming than pretty or beautiful in my opinion and Irene >>>>>> everyone even whole groups combined In 3r gen. Now you add Seulgi and Joy and it’s game over :siptear: .


    Also no offense just my opinion but i always found Twice beauty exceptionnelly overated. Except Tzuyu and then maybe Mina everyone else is nothing much. Don’t get me wrong they are charming and cute (like Sana and Nayeon) but overall they aren't great beauties.


    In conclusion, overall through all gens, NewJeans are the visual Queens, no one comes even close except maybe fx. But nowhere near because NJ are ALL visuals and they are legendary beauties. From Minji to Haerin to Danielle it’s an all kill :yesr: .

    Phampham is already a top hit girl like most nj members are or will be and they will only get bigger. She hasnt left the top 10 in brand value since debut if im not mistaken and she was only second to Minji who is a legendary korean visual but still manage to beat both Haerin and specially Jisoo by millions.


    That’s because in contrary to Tzuyu or even Kazuha she looks korean and her name sounds korean and most importantly, she HAS the HIT factor. Her charms are endless from cute to hip to funny and she is very talented with a unique voice. She has major buzz factor and often trends for the smallest things.


    Now IF she was korean tho she would have been the ULTIMATE hit girl hands down no competition. She would have left no crumbs. Like mix jennie+taeyeon (at her pik). Yes your heard me Taeyon and not IU. Because Phamphams voice overall charms and star factor reminds me a lot of Taeyeon when she was in SNSD.


    Like Taeyeon, she has a very etheral/emotional voice, like Taeyeon she is a major stan attractor, like Taeyeon she is extra smol and cute (the pocket girl), like Taeyeon she is in the biggest GG in the 4th gen by faaar. Etc.


    But she also reminds me of Jennie Because she has that glamorous/hip factor about her. Even her looks have similarities with Jennie, small, round cheeks and face, slender waist etc.


    On the other hand, in apparence Jo Yuri is the one the most similat in visual type and vocal color with IU, but actually, the real 4th gen vocal that comes close in term of vocal color beauty with IU is no one else but ... Winter! Yes aespa Winter! She also has a dual charm like IU both pretty but also extra cute and lovely. (And apparently she is also trained in acting...)

    If handeled properly musically, her voice is so beautiful that i think she is the closest to contend with IUs musical success and legacy. :siptear:

    Nj songs remind me of rv bsides but then again rv also have a lot more upbeat and quirky-sounding music as well. Their songs are pretty different from usual kpop - there's def a formula, but it's the first time this type of music is being curated so consistently by a kpop group.

    Their similarity start with 2ne1 imo only because I think 2ne1 was the first gg (that I can remember) to curate a consistent image with sound and aesthetic. You heard about 2ne1 you knew what to expect and yet u were curious for the next release. Something similar u can see with bp's brand that was even more consistent and clear with the black and pink concept influencing everything about their music and image in the same way that looks (to me) that the bunny concept (harmless, adorable and everywhere) is subtly influencing everything abt nj.

    I think Ive is a lot more similar to SNSD/T-ara not just image-wise but also bc their music and concepts show more versatility compared to most groups, they just shape their sound in a concept that looks flattering to them. However if u ask me which group inspired most in the creation of Ive i'd say it was Apink's mature trinity So Sick, %%, Duhrudum though the music isn't as hard hitting it's a similar vibe and aesthetic. Ive was planned with Yujin and Wonyoung in mind while they still were in Izone so it makes sense Starship wanted something feminine and trendy with gp friendly music that differentiated them from Izone while using Wonyoung and Yujin strenghts.

    Ive's versatility is different to g idle's case that they also show versatility but more in a way that looks like they are playing with concepts.

    i agree, Ive is actually a mix of SNSD / Tara and a bit of late Apink :thumbup: but still main inspi is SNSD in my opinion, the later groups didn’t insist so much on luxurious tall beauties typa aesthetics.


    And yes musically wise and also a bit concept wise NJ also has some RV influence. But NJ has a small Discography yet, and the fact that they have asap which is a bit experimental makes me think that they may continu in this direction in the future.


    And this dreamy/indie/surreal concept NJ has sometimes just reminds me more of fx overall :wellr:.

    And yes NJs music is somehow unheard of in kpop ggs. I only compared them to fx because of the indie inspiratons (mhj art director) and the more experimental quality of some of their music :-) .
