. It's in my top 3 best 2023 songs.I'll make you cry makes me cry all the time because aespa never replicated a song as good since it came out
.(well maybe Menagerie can come close but it's a solo unreleased track so...)
And Illusion because it's a freaking A level BOP.
My worst top 3 is:

3. Savage
Next level to me is an earbleed even tho it does get catchy after a while
. But it's a song that makes no sense 
.Spicy is just noisy, bland and childish

i think they really have to work harder to balance out AESPA style which is more pure kpop and more western style chill pop sound.
So far this is a decent try but a total failure for aespa sound. A groupe like Twice could have handeled such a song far better but it doesn’t suit aespa.
I think they shoul aim for something like Hold on tight type of songs, not too chill really otherwise it doesn’t sound like aespa anymore and maybe do more chill dance hyper pop type of songs. Idn. This isnt it.
So in conclusion the song is decent even fine but not good or great. And it doesn’t suit aespa. So im decepointed.
Ps: At this point, it just gets annoying and tiring seeing such group waste their time and talent on mediocre songs to say the least. From Next Level to Savage to Spicy eveything was TERRIBLE
. Like Next Level and Spicy are amogst the worst songs ever made really

NJ is basically 4 visual member plus a gorgeous charming babe
. I mean which group could top Minji - Haerin - Danielle - Hyein + Hanni combo uh?Only fx comes close with Krystal Sulli and Victoria but Amber and even Luna lowers the bar by a lot.
Then i would put SNSD in my top 3. Overall they are gorgeous
.Ps: for the 3rd place it's actually RV or SNSD. SNSD have more dtrikikg beauties but RV overall balance is a bit better so...

i think it's a mix of factors
1. nugu group (really doesn’t help), in her case, instead of carrying the group the group's flopiness is negatively reflecting on her
2. she is beautiful and rather talented but her charms and personality are not strong enough to carry her out of her groups nugudom and lack of hit songs
3. not much personal activities doesn’t help her at all, she should get more jobs, more hype more exposure because there is potential in her but jyp seems to not care
If she was in aespa (which would have been great by the way, she really suits them specially in ae/fairy concepts), I think she would have been a top visual, probably even higher than Karina. Because visual wise she is completely gp style, doll face with great proportions, natural beauty, she looks almost like an ae or an manwha character. But well, her circumstances are not helping her.

NJ are actually an intersting mix of kpop and western pop. And just straight up good quality music. Period.
They are kpop 2.0. They are the evolution. Now pure kpop if not handeled masterfully just sounds outdated, kitsch in the wrong way and just traight up stuck in the 10's.
Even more pure kpop based group should freshen up and bring something new and more modern to the table. Doesn't mean they should just copy past western artist tho. But level up. That’s what NJ is doing and bringing to the table.
Aren't 4th/5th gen aiming for global charting anyway?

Actually since Minju refused to be in Ssera their future was already changed, Garam departure just confirmed it.
On the other hand, if Kazuha was korean they could have bounced back and have a top hit girl in the girl which would have baught more light and more hype to the group.
Sakura will do fine she has a big fanbase. But the only master card left to them is the charms and buzz factor of Chaewon. Yunjin with proper styling could also be trendy.
But without a korean pure visual member like Garam and Minju, they really really need great music to be a top group and will modt likely never really catch up NJ or even Ive as A listers in korea. (for now at last)

Instizchart is a meta chart basically, which uses chart rankings from the biggest services in korea, and gives a score depending on rank and service (melon with a bigger userbase gets weighted more than genie or bugs which have less reach for example) They also use a mix of hourly, daily and even weekly charts (youtube) for their calculation.
Based on above, every included chart and track gets a score every hour, thats used for their own realtime chart and weekly chart (accumulated score over a week, which resets every monday at 0am).
Melon differs a bit in how their main chart work now from the other charts, as they combine and weight both the number of streams and hourly unique listeners for their main chart.The other domestic charts are mostly just unique listeners/hour and/or day.
Youtube have their own filters that their weekly chart is based on, thats doesnt really work like any of the domestic charts, and is the only included chart thats only updated once a week.

NewJeans have far better voices, they also sing and dance better too overall. Except Lisa. But Hanni Haerin Danielle are just that good.
Raping wise BP are better but NJ doesn’t really rap so. Can’t really compare. Overall NJ is more talented. No doubt.
Even Roses voice can't be compared to Hanni. Hannis voice is just that good.
In BP the only exceptional thing is Lisas dancing and stage presence. Jennies rapping can be decent too when she tries. But apart of that there is nothing remarquable about that group talent wise. Also there is a lack of cohesion and consistancy within the group.

And I'm telling you BTS is not just about 'Dynamite' or any particular song. It is a brand which is very much mainstream hence you saw them getting invited by UN or White House and by many other non music and entertainment related organizations. They aren't just celebrities but more than that. I don't expect you girl group fans to know all of it because BTS have made all of your faves look irrelevant for all these years hence you started acting ignorant to how big they are and started pushing it "all down to fandom" agenda. But you need to know now if you think your new no name faves can surpass them.

His schedule is clashing with Taehyung and is probably going to clash with RM too, not just western acts. BTS don't have time to be involved in your stupid conspiracies.

Do you really think BTS schedule revolves around Newjeans when they're rushing to get things done?
BTS have been releasing songs every 2-4 weeks.
Newjeans is just 1 year old. They will have a lot of time to grow. I guess kpop stans like you want that fast and straight to the top kind of success. Don't act like HYBE is not promoting them.
Well obviously Hybe should prioritize the growth of a promising freaking ROOKIE yes. Lol.
BTS members will be succesful at any time and BTS already achieved a lot, but NJ are rookies and they need to grow and be promoted and be prioritized (from a business perspective not for personal reasons.)
And Hybes behaviour towards NJ/ Ador is very shady since Get up comback for various reasons that being one amongst them, that’s all i'm pointing out. Nobodys forcing you to read or to agree.

Let me tell you something. The fandom you are talking about wasn't always there. BTS didn't just go there and collect them like pokemons. Most of the BTS fans used to be "GP" who did not know shit about kpop before BTS. BTS turned those "GP" into their fans some of which turned into kpop fans. Most of the people who listen to kpop now did not know anything about kpop before BTS made it popular. Thats why kpop grew so much during BTS dominating years.
BTS did all this being a boy group. There's been so many girl groups with so many songs and none of them have been able to be as relevant as BTS 2017 in the US. None of your faves despite being girl groups are making headlines for doing something unexpected and groundbreaking like BTS have been doing since 2017 (except Fifty Fifty who went viral). Let me tell you the reason. Because they are not known to "GP" at all. All your kpop faves are pandering to the audience that BTS brought to kpop.
I'm not even talking about who's doing their job right or wrong. I'm just showing you how stupid your conspiracy theory sounds about Jungkook releasing around the same time as NewJeans.
#1 song in global Spotify for almost a month which is one of the biggest songs of the year is below the single from a rookie girl group in the biggest of the playlists. And according to you, they purposely released this song around your faves lol... Like make it make sense.

Building a huge fanbase (weither there were kpop stans or not) which i never said otherwise is NOT exactly being maintsteam or gp friendly. Dynamite/Cupid were public friendly. Thats it. It means reaching recogniction widely beyond a fanbase. And i think NJ has the potential to get there. So Hybe should promote them the best they could to actually break into the US market.
Also we're not in 2017 anymore. We're in a era post bts/bp and even cupid. Different times different context.

Jungkook, probably. You know, this BTS member whose release schedule overlaps with his own group members like Taehyung or international artists like Taylor but who should not have released Seven the same month as NewJeans when BTS members are following a tight schedule right now to be able to have their OTP7 comeback in 2025.
If you can't properly plan a schedule to allow the proper growth of your artists specially a very primising one and delay or change a schedule for 2 freaking weeks then im sorry but you are very likely uncompetent. Or shady.

If you really think that NewJeans can surpass BTS then they should not require "connections" and "resources" that you are asking for all through this thread.
BTS started attending, performing and getting nominated in the US and then other global award shows all on their own. They didn't need any connections for that. Actually all the connections that you want HYBE and Bang PD to use for your faves were made because of BTS.
NewJeans have already gotten much bigger push in the US than BTS have ever gone for. Are we really going to act like NewJeans song has been and still is ahead of Jungkook's 'Seven' in all the biggest playlists? When the latter song is possibly the biggest song released by any male artist in the world this year. Definitely much bigger than any kpop release this year (maybe you can argue with 'Cupid' but we will see)....
I said with the RIGHT PROMO and with the GP. I don’t think any group can have a fanbase like BTS honestly. But who knows?
But it's a new generation, kpop is not as odd as it was in the 10s, BTS and 50 50 more recently did pave some ways in thr us market. And just simply because I think ggs are overall even in the west more likely to go viral with the gp than bgs. With NJs music, i could see them get there.
It doesn’t take any achievements away from BTS in contrary it’s a testament of their impact and legacy because them going viral did allow bpd to develop more connections in the us industry and conncetions are everything. I never said otherwise so i don't see the point of the argument

And like any properly functing compagny Hybe also need to focus on the future and build more brands. And their newest most popular one with huge potential is NJ. That’s it. They just need to promot it and push it properly. Period.
