I'm so glad I backtracked! Hi everyone!
I agree with EVERYTHING you said.
Said that, I think It's safe to suppose that he probably doesn't care about holding himself back as much as we do. Otherwise, he would probably update much more dance content on SKZ-Player or their new series SKZ-Practice Room, but he doesn't do. He has opportunities to stand out If he wants, as you mentioned as examples.
Maybe what makes him happier than being on the spotlight is dancing as a group member and sharing his knowledge with his friends. And It's totally okay If It's really what he wants too, because in the end, artists have different ways to express themselves musically.
I just wanted to agree on this. I didn't understand this at first getting into skz, but I totally see what you mean. Getting into skz, I can see that they're all still really growing into themselves and their artistry. Whenever he decides to do something content related I think it'd be awesome
me please! I hope I can still join
Edit: I just wanted to add some ramblings lmao
There are different levels to stanning a group. Some do it casually. Some some do it hardcore. And then you get the levels of in between-ness. When I became a bts stan a long time ago it was so easy to just constantly be involved with the fandom and watch everything etc and before I knew it I was a full time army.
With skz, it's conscious decision for me every time I do something related to them. But also I've moved up a couple of levels unconsciously lmao. I watch Chan's room religiously now. I just can't miss it. I find myself awwing over every single one of them at random times for different reasons it's so fascinating to me.
Anyway I miss them and I hope our clown era will end soon with more news on the mixtape

I'm going to put my money on Stray kids.
They'll get there eventually.

this is actually so good damn

I think they're pretty much equal. there's pros and cons to both. I prefer the production of american pop music. idk what sort of crack they put in there but it's fabulous, seamless and so easy on the ears. And unless you're into kpop already, "american pop" tends to be catchier. I've had kiss me more stuck in my head for ages. This song went viral on tiktok many times for different parts of the song. it's pretty nuts. There's just more longevity with american pop music.
I prefer Kpop on the other hand for the performances and dances. They have stage presence and it's just so much fun to watch them dance and have fun on stage. The mvs are pretty cool too but I'm not big on watching mvs in general. The style and fashion is great too. I prefer it over the ones in american pop. kpop is also filled with content so you're always involved or watching something.
There are exceptions to this but that's generally it imo.

I'm curious who the people in skz are so I'm gonna help you out if you don't mind?
There are 8 members including Hyunjin in my sig.
Changbin is the the guy who raps once you click the video. At around 0:26 Bang Chan starts singing and then Felix is the guy singing with him. Then after that around 0:43 Lee know starts singing. At around 1:03 is Hyunjin and then Lee know again. At around 1:20 is Han. Seungmin is at 1:51 and lastly I.N sings at 1:55.

I looked them up after listening to their new song because I figured they're 2nd gen and yes! Brave Girls did that! Ageism can go to hell

I listened through everything before making my choices!
Firstly, I really like Seungmin's voice. His fantastic piece. Easily one of my fav voices in kpop now.
Secondly, Han's songs are so so good. I see a theme and style listening to them after each other. Happy is my fav out of the 3, then Alien and Wish you back.
Lastly, My fav 3 that I vote for:
2. Happy
3. Piece
I also just released what the difference between the Players and the Records is lmao. Super thankful for Skz releasing music like this. You can just tell that they love doing what they do

I'm glad someone brought it up because I think there's a conversation to be had here.
I don't think anyone in the group says things as a joke to be cruel or malicious intentionally. However, it can still be seen that way. Especially by outsiders who don't know the group's dynamics. Because I looked at the original thread and even when I know some are taken out of context, some of posts were pretty damning. That's why people have been showing support for Sunoo.
Even though jokes abut weight and diet are pretty normal in the kpop industry, it's really uncomfortable for me and I'm sure many others to see and hear that. Whether it actually affects Sunoo is not certain and only he can say that, I still think they shouldn't do it. It sends a terrible message to young impressionable fans.
