I wanna share something controversial too, I want fights 
Some girl group stans need to look themselves in the mirror when they talk about misogyny because when a female idol is in a scandal or if a new gg is debuting, they are the first to try and hate on them or stir up trouble.

Some gg stans always call bg stans toxic but are as taxic as them and a lot of them use “feminism” to basically hate bgs and bg stans.
Before someone says I am generalizing a whole group of people. I said S O M E and not all. I am also a gg stan and I know a tons of gg stans who are tame and nice but I feel that the hate toward bgs has increased with the increasing success of gg.
I think you have a point about the increase in that there are more threads of this nature, but I feel the actual toxicity hasn't really risen, it was always there in large amounts, tale as old as time, but we see it vocalized more because of those successes you refer to.

Yep people need to realise that they're basically creating a cycle of hate where it's believed only one female can get the spotlight.

Anyway this one is for kpop fandoms in general but people need to stop giving so much importance to the gp because their isn't one. Streaming services and social media has become so widespread that there is no longer anything that's actually popular among the general public. Something could be popular on tiktok and half of a country may have never heard it before. Radio isn't as popular as it was before, half of "celebrities" nowadays aren't even that widely known, less people watch TV so in reality what you see as popular among the general public is just popular among a small group of curious people.

And I haven’t but I see a lot of hate against bgs. Even ones without any scandals. People openly saying they are ugly but then turning around and preaching how much female idols get hated for their visuals due to sexism. Text book double standards

On the flip side, I always amazed that GG stans usually will hype and support most GGs. They are not that exclusive compared to BG stans.
But some GGs stans do like to hide behind “feminism” to justify their acts.
Pros and cons I guess.
