RV is already mentioned a lot by younger idols. Everyone wants to be like seulgi or be friends with her. Rei from IVE is a fan, Sakura too, etc.

Gfriend disbanded but they kinda have a legacy already. I know younger idols and trainees cover them a lot, Monday from weeekly is a big fan, some girls on MTG too, etc

Mamamoo surely will have a legacy, especially as the members keep growing as solo artists.

Jokes aside I think Onf will have a legacy, but I think they will be known as the 'under the radar' group that people were late to stan, kinda like ioi I guess (though ioi were popular)

i think top 4 bts,exo,twice and bp definitely have legacy each of these groups claimed to be top group of 3rd gen in their respective bg's and gg's so it's easy to remember them

If the criteria is being regularly covered and talked about by younger generations then exo basically meets that no? People are still covering their songs till this day and the members also have their own thriving careers. So many idols today look up to the likes of Baekhyun, Kai, kyungsoo, etc

I think argument that artists aren't mentioned by new western fans who only new bts or BP shouldn't be taken seriously. Western fans are the most clueless and less experienced kpop fans. If we let them decide who will have a legacy than only twice, BP, bts, exo and loona will have a legacy while artists like iu won't. That's ridiculous.

I think Korean public is more important. If they are mentioned outside the kpop scene like in movies and drama it will tell much more.

only realistic answer is bts, blackpink and maybe twice (in korea) , internationally it's bts and blackpink
