Do you like make up on male idols?

I don't mind it, but I hate how some (if not most) of them are whitewashed or wear the wrong foundations.

I like it. It's not really any different from female idols wearing makeup. Performance is very makeup heavy so when they preform it's really pretty. Especially when it brings out their natural eye color or compliments their hair color/style. I love it

Yes, I have always liked it. I do not find macho men attractive at all. I very much enjoy when guys wear makeup

i do like it. especially like a red color around eyes.

Looks horrendous imo

Especially on male idols. The same idols can look like cool fantsy characters and weird cartoons with different makeup style.

lol i feel like in kpop choi san is the best at pulling it off... it's for sure a hard look to pull off though.

Also, personal preference, I don't mind a ton of makeup on male idols as it enhances the performance but i hate "feminine" make-up on male idols.

I dont like seeing blush or lipstick on male idols. Eye makeup doesnt bother me.

Yes but only if it's subtle. I even prefer the way korean actors wear makeup, it's just a bit of bb cream to even out the skin.

however, idols take it overboard sometimes. the white foundation + glossy red lips looks kinda clownish to me, especially if the foundation is much paler than the person's real skin tone.

I don't even like the way female idols wear makeup because the aegyosal highlight is too much and the face makeup is too pale.

There were a lot weird guys on German music-TV as I was a kid so I kind of didn't cared at the beginning, I just was a bit mad at the hatters when they asumed that those people would be gay just cause of their style

I like it. And if women can wear makeup, so should men. Why exclude them from the fun?

The too pale foundation and the fake lenses are my only complaints. In general, I love makeup on male idols a lot. It was actually the first thing that got my attention when I first met Kpop music.

I prefer a more natural look but if there is make up then only very light.

Depends, usually the same trends I hate for male idols I also dislike for females. Generally I dislike makeup that don't enhance one's natural features.

I am used to see male singer with make up. Like Hanoi Rocks is from 1981 already used make up (actually formed 79, but this vid is from 81)

I don't pay attention to it, because I don't care and don't understand nothing about makeup, since I don't use/like them myself

One of my friends that is just getting into kpop completely hates it though and she thinks that it is one of the barriers for kpop in the west.
