I think it makes sense of XdHe to be fans of Day6. Day6 is in that "artist's artist (band)" sphere; they can do things and go places that other boybands and actual K-id0l bands struggle to. Being from the same agency/label is even more of an inspiration, by proximity, and another reason for XdHe to see their own potential in working hard to become something uniquely great too.
