Like she was raised in the West, and based on her previous actions and comments I feel like she’s forcing too much this goodie two shoes/schoolmarm/innocent persona. Ever since she made her solo debut it seems she’s pushing hard on that angle . Qurl what’s even the point, even 5th gen underage 1/3rd of your age idols aren’t doing this kind of thing. Maybe I’ve been following RV for so long I know them but nobody else cares to notice or remember
Am I the only one that doesn’t buy Wendy’s “innocent” act?

Okay but there are plenty of innocent people in the west😅

inb4 he says he's just being "honest"

Ah, so being born in the West means to be impolite or dirty minded? What a not well thought through assumption

how does this effect your life in any way?
aren't we all here for diversion/time waste for essentially useless topics

i just thought it was ridiculous how Wendy is bowing so grovelingly to Kai. even a Korean wouldn't go that far, it's usually reserved for parents. and i remember the story Wendy told of how she made her mom cry because she was so mean to her over the phone. difference is one is in private, the other is with cameras on

You're mistaking respect for "innocence" and using hearsay to support your ridiculous claim.
Just another stop on the hate train.

Hasn’t virtually everyone made their parents cry just because you know… *life*. Doesn’t mean that any other time they are respectful or sweet is an act?
-
"hearsay", came straight out of her mouth
also colleagues in Korea don't bow to each other than that. that's just exaggerated and fake what Wendy is doing, but it serves no purpose. like i have no idea why she did that, i hope it was for comedic effect and she wasn't trying to pass it off as 'genuine' reverence

so you admit this is a useless topic?

as an 18 yo adult speaking on the phone to a mother who is sick of worry because her daughter is alone in an overseas country. i'm sure that's perfectly NORMAL

Thank you for admitting you don't know any of the context or the full story of that picture.
That just proves you are only using it to hate on Wendy.

i'm referring to those who are still trainees and when they debut they will be 5th gen. i was watching some clip of MBC My Teenage Girl and even the youngest trainees don't put on innocent acts, they act maturely

ooooh you mean the 1st years like Park Boeun or Choi Soobin. I don't really keep up with the show but if they debut in the future (a good 3-5 years from now) then I can see them being 5th gen. But if for whatever crazy reason they debut now I would consider them 4th gen regardless of their ages.
-
I'll keep using my definition of kpop generations.
I believe a new generation has started when most of the oldest members in new groups are younger than most of the youngest members of established groups.
That should keep us in 4th gen for the next two to three years.

As a human, when tensions are high because you are separated from your family and your kid is a new adult who might wants to prove that she can cope on her own without you, I would reckon yes… pretty normal, aye.
Also, you know. You weren’t there,
Newsflash, people fall out with the people they are closest to ALL the time. Doesn’t mean they’re secrectly malicious dicks and that every act of kindness or politeness is an act.

they can debut within a year if they make the group

then 99% of everything is hearsay because it's impossible to be physically present in everything that happens even if they are well known facts. anyway, you are going on ignore. i can't deal with illogical talking points

Mmm, i have doubt. For what i remember she is racist, right?

Arent they like super close? This seems like a joke between friends, i dont think Wendy is seriously worshipping Kai or putting him on a godlike pedestal lol.

Being put on ignore by you is an honor.
Also, you bringing up "illogical talking points" is true irony.

from the pann article they were saying that even though they are colleagues they don't know each other. then Wendy started with the bowing thing, as if to show great reverence/respect. i'm just saying i hope she did that as a joke, rather than pretending to be serious but the translated Korean comments sounded as if it wasn't any joke, just her being "super respectful". like Biden say, come on man. Just a handshake would suffice
