Yes, I agree like I had gone through this I believe majority of kpop fans will go through this someway somehow doesn't mean it's forever tho sometimes we go back to our "not favs anymore" when they release good songs again idk, it's not an obligation to stick with them if I am not particularly fond of their songs anymore I understand there's this emotional attachment thing but it's difficult ~for me at least ~ to pretend enjoying something I am not lol
so yeah people shouldn't force themselves but again at the same time I understand the emotional attachment... Just can't imagine me doing that but I can see in a way.

For artists like BTS, I’m even more annoyed at fans portraying them as puppets cos they don’t fk with them anymore like they used to. Just unstan. Or become a casual fan(tune in when you like what they are doing)

I don't get the stanning thing and and how so many people are obsessed by it... Maybe it's because most "loyal" fans are painted to be obessessive and un-cool while Multis are painted to be the "cool kids"

I've found that ''unstanning'' groups always came to me spontaneously, just losing interest without even noticing it.
People are taking fandom culture way too seriously.You can like someone without stanning them,and you can still enjoy their songs and content from the times when you used to stan them.

Its funny cause they'll use vulnerable moments from BTS to create this narrative but then in the same breath ignore and dismiss things like Jin having dinner with Bangpd. You can't pick and choose what you want to use. BTS are multi dimensional people who have ups and downs and people are exploiting that.
