Seriously. Nothing about the song is appealing. The chorus is not catchy or memorable. The reason of it's popularity is Loona or orbits. One of the weekly members always showed herself as big Loona fan and we all know Loona has a big int fandom who are active on twitter and tiktok. Red velvet's russian roulette also went viral when some orbit made video of Vivi dancing to russian roulette but with another song.
After school by Weekly is overrated and the reason it got popular among ifans is because of Loona

As a daileee since debut I've noticed the interest orbits took in weeekly partly due to Jihan's cute fangirling of Loona but after school's success can't just be confined to orbits. Maybe it helped but if they had that power, they'd be bigger on YT and Spotify. Also Jihan got popular in general too, it's her tiktoks that tended to blow up
