The problem is that no one buys albums in the US anymore. If the BB200 chart, which is an American chart, used only physical sales, American artists could be locked out of their own charts by a small niche group of hardcore Kpop fans organizing bulk buying.
And we all know bulk buying is just as much of a problem as zombie streaming.

Since this is about aespa, they charted because of pure sales, album equivalent units (streams + download) are like 10% of their total, hence why they're #2 this week for the Top Album chart but #20 for the Billboard 200 everything factored

The OP is confusing lol. It's not streams that are manipulated by fans, it's sales. Hence why groups like NCT and SuperM can chart extremely high on BB200 but have little western recognition and relevancy.
This is why Hot 100 charting >>> BB200 charting, especially in a time where no one in the US consumes music via physicals. I would say BB200 charting = fandom growth

1. Is this image even from an American fan?
2. K-pop stans lack at streaming, especially compared to popular US acts. They would not be able to chart their faves on BB200 with only digitals, only BTS & BP can do that.
Instead, they chart their faves on BB200 due to pure sales, which is why most albums peak decently high and then plummet off in 2-3 weeks.

Yeah I guess this one is a good indicative. The thing is this does include several asian countries which are massive as well and when kpop stans say "international" they are mostly referring to the u.s and other western countries. If said groups can't chart at all in them (not even spotify top 200) then it's kinda misleading imo

13 weeks. It was because of the repackage.
FREEZE is still charting on Top Album Sales, World Albums, Top Current Album Sales, and it just re-entered Tastemaker Albums. TXT is really coming to wreak havoc with their next comeback if they're doing this with a full + repackage.
