no, well at least not for the most part. its everyone's job to help the poor imo. no matter how much or how less you make you should always try help out people who don't have enough. i know there are situations where people can't afford to help others and that's understandable, everybody's trying to get through their own struggles. and we don't live an ideal world either, human nature is being greedy and always wanting more than what they give away. so its why we should try, even if its not money. like asking someone how they are or even just smiling at a person. a small gesture can go a long way.
