2NE1 is the best girl group to ever exist

Based on domestic digital performance (SD & DNA) physicals (YNWA & LY Her) , and Gallup, I would put BTS for the top boy group in 2017, since they were ranked the highest among male groups.

physical wise LY Her was the best selling album of the year

as blueaqua said.... there were also the highest ranked BG on gallup

even digitally. LY HER did extremely well on korean platforms including hit bsides like Go Go.

BTS had SD, DNA and MDR on 2017. Her was the no.1 album of the year in gaon with a lead of 500k+. So Definitely BTS for 2017.

BTS should definitely get 2017.

2NE1 and SNSD could both go either way for 2009 and especially 2010.

SISTAR had hit songs, but they never dominated any year as a whole.

For 2017 I'll def put BTS, apart from digital & physical sales, they've won more Daesang as well for 2017.

Acts with most Daesang for 2017 (only counting KMA, SMA, MAMA, GDA, MMA):

BTS (5), EXO/IU (2), TWICE/Hyukoh/Kang Tae Gu (1).

Users already explained those, for the rest I think is pretty accurate.

BLACKPINK has been the top kpop girlgroup internationally since 2018 but in Korea definitely they went straight up to the top last year.

i had expected Sistar or T-ara for 2012. Alone was Song of the year in 2012. They also had loving u that year.

T-ara had lovey dovey, cry cry, day by day, sexy love.

Not sure how f(x) get 2012. As far as i know they only had an electric shock.

Jokes aside. Op may not know it but in reality Crayon Pops Dancing Queen and Brave Girls Nowadys You were the best songs of 2012.

For 2021 since BP didn't have any comeback this year so far. I'll probably replace them with Brave Girls tbh.
