Sm has said there is gonna be a new NCT unit and a new boy group separate from NCT this year.

Well the new NCT unit could very well be just.members already introduced so not a whole.new group but idk

Nah, they're fine. I have some complains toward Bighit with how they handles TXT, but overall they're doing great job. Each members has solo activity based on their own interest (MC, radio DJ, acting, variety show, etc)

They have proper promo for TXT new Japanese album with tons appearance in JP music shows, variety shows, interview.

So far it's TXT and SKZ right now leading in many categories. We know there are more groups debuting so idk.

I also don't see I-land future groups stopping Enhypen since I-land is a survival show, there are plenty of own fans newer groups can each reach and gather in the future.

For current state, TXT and SKZ are leading with digital and physical album sales. SKZ doing better than other groups in YT, Spotify. While TXT in korean digital platforms, JP album sales, chart #25 in billboard 200 etc. So to be fair, at least other groups need to surpassed these milestones to be call 'leader'.

But we don't know the future. Each groups has great potential, so they have big chance to become 4th gen leader. Some groups join Kingdom, we might get more surprise later

yeah, this is false. BH invests plenty in them, you can see it in their sets and MVs.

TXT has the most per album sales and the best selling single album with the best korean digitals, Stray Kids gets the highest numbers on Spotify and YT, Enhyphen is close to selling 400k with a debut album...those 3 lead in atleast one aspect each so they have my vote.

this is more like a wish, but i want groups that have more participation in their songs get to lead the 4th gen to lend more credibility to the whole industry.

so right now it's Treasure and SKZ i guess.

What's the problem?

Right now TXT is leading the fourth generation. Stray kids are close too, those two groups are each leading in different categories, no one takes over with a huge difference.

Out of all the current active groups, the only ones who can compete with TXT and Stray Kids are Enhypen and Treasure. Enhypen already surpassed some 4th gen groups and broke records of the biggest 4th gen groups so they might lead in the future. From what I know treasure has been doing quite well too so yeah, it's gonna be txt vs stray kids vs enhypen vs treasure

for now TXT and SKZ

+ maybe Enhypen already very good sales with only 2 version (especially in Japan)

+ maybe Treasure if yg will promote them well
