I've decided that NEXT LEVEL is the best GG title track from SM in years

Next level was perfect for me it was like a gen 2 song but modern at the same time and shown enough of Aespa’s talents that has me wanting more. It’s very addictive

You definitely highlighted the secret to BP's formula. Everyone obsesses over the drops and the empty choruses but what really makes BP unique is mixing their trap sound with the melodic prechoruses/bridges/verses (at times). HYLT was a perfect amalgamation, very melodic verses and bridge, second verse rap, unique drop and repetitive chorus, and of course the final hard hitting outro.

Well, I think most (if not all) Red Velvet tracks are better than Next Level so... Hard disagree.

Next Level has eclipsed Psycho. Psycho is a fantastic power ballad, but it peters out after the second chorus, the bridge and outro are a bit boring. Maybe it couldve used a Teddy style blowout outro like Bang Bang Bang or Boombayah where the girls just go crazy.

Next Level has everything a song should have. Uniqueness, inventiveness, ambition, great rap flow, godly vocal breaks, and of course the intangible factor - the super addictive way the girls spit out the lyrics.

no its no, its an awful song with a odd construction

sm peak in gg music with pshycho and maybe rv cmb will bring that back but their summer music is ass smth so maybe they are doomed to just bad music

Pyscho is overrated. The last godlike SM gg song was 4 walls by f(x). And now NL is there to take its throne.
