    Obviously you cannot compare Sistar to any third gen groups because of the ways things changed. Streaming changed, physical sales are a lot higher, but Sistar had an amazing 7 years run and left a huge legacy in KPOP, my summer queens did that.


    Sistar started from a nugu company (yes Starship was nugu they only had Sistar and K Will back then), and it was Sistar that made Starship what it is today. Without Sistar, you won't have your MONSTA X/WJSN/Cravity/Starship NGG. From a small company they managed to compete with top tier groups from the big 3 such as SNSD/2NE1/WG, and even Kara from DSP.

    One of my favourite "Touch My Body" stages. The staging, the outfits, and most importantly the energy and vibe in this performance. Unlike many 3rd/4th gen stages who focuses a lot on perfection, you can see Sistar isn't really the kind to try and make things perfect. They try to play around with the facial expressions and with the camera especially with this performance, it makes you just wanna go in and dance with them


    I mean since you stan BTS you probably also know that they love this song

    Yes, Hyolyn is the main vocalist and leader in Sistar. She's probably one of the most talented idol of all time in the entire KPOP industry and I'm not even exaggerating

    Their problem was album sales, they did never had the dedicated fan base that would bulk buy their albums.

    I'm be honest, Sistar didn't had a huge fanbase, their physicals were terrible. But what they lacked in physicals they hade up with their digitals which were top tier. They had hit after hit and the GP always supported them.


    Also, ultimately they became one of the best GGs of their generation, and each member made a name for themselves.
