preparing myself for 2026
Adults of AKP, what's the worst part about adulthood?

Too many responsibilities.
-
responsabilities
and having to manage yourself
-
Bills
-
Responsibilities. It's so easy when your parents take care of everything.
-
just starting as an adult -- the parents still treat you like a teen. only when you can get enough money together to shut their mouth up will they stay out of your business. but then they might come back asking for more.
edit: safe to say that my parents kinda also treat me as a retirement investment sometimes. they want me to get a job as fast as humanly possible to start paying back.

Getting old.
-
Dealing with other people’s egos. Most things are easy. People are hard.
-
Also, realizing that problems that started during childhood still linger and affect us much more than we ever thought.
Whatever is hurting you now, try to figure it out and address it directly instead of thinking it will naturally pass once you reach adulthood. The times might be over, but the effect it has on you might still linger later on. Don’t let that happen.

Why would you pay back? It is their responsibility to take care of their kid.

-
buying insurance...not hard but tedious! lol
-
Having to worry about basic stuff like housing, utility, taxes, fees, transportation, food, cleaning, insurance, healthcare, and so on while dealing with co-workers, neighbor's association or landlord, lawyers, and so on and balancing it with your family and love life. Each of these factors will have their own bullshit you have to deal with and probably you will get the short end of the stick most of the time depending on your social condition.

Responsibilities.
-
Working and paying bills, they take half my money responsibilities, a lot of them. You see the world differently, see how easy you had it when school was your only worry. Your parents and grand parents are getting old, it's sad to watch. And your own health, both mental and physical, is slowly going to **** because of all that stress. Enjoy your youth, live in the moment, spend time with real people and don't stress yourselves with irrelevant stuff that will have no positive effect in your adult life what so ever!
