According to edaily, YG, SM, JYP along with bighit are planning to debut new groups this year.
I think this is a terrible decision. Each agency already has a wide range of issues they need to solve and matters they should attend to first, such as:
- YG not giving their groups comebacks, and reportedly not generating enough revenue
- SM recently debuting a gg and having a bad public image due to scandals
- JYP mismanaging their current groups and GOT7 rumoured to disband
The current popular kpop groups are already making huge names for themselves and their respective companies, I don't see the need to rush the process of cycling groups (as in old ones leaving new ones introduced)
Not my opinion, but I wanted to find out what other think about this
